idNG: Lol @ Congrats.. You are buttressing a point abi? i do not even understand what the argument is about Sky is big enough..if you create multiples to increase to increase your chances of getting quicker ITA no issues, its on dibp website..you can read up.Just be sure to delete the others if you are satisfied and made your mind up with one ITA. For those "simulating" with fake points they do not have, i think that is not nice and they are not been fair to themselves anyway because they will have to prove all points claimed ahead when they do the application proper. Whatever is the reason or motive behind that is what i do not know...hustle is real 1 Like |

Good day everyone, I woke up this morning to this sad mail from VETASSESS, NEGATIVE OUTCOME for Agricultural consultant, their reasons: The task undertaken are not highly relevant to the ANZSCO tasks for the nominated occupation. The employment described above does not meet minimum requirements for the occupation as According to ANZSCO, an Agricultural consultant advises farmers, agricultural businesses, rural industries and government on the production, processing and distribution of farm products. Based on provided documents, you were involved in training farmers on the use of herbicides and pesticides, land preparation, seed treatment, packaging and storage; introducing low cost feed technology, assisted group of farmers in getting loan, supervising research team, etc. which are not highly relevant to nominated occupation. the role appeared to be of farm technician with major focus on providing training and supervising the farmers. Therefore, the overall outcome is negative. A positive assessment of both qualifications and employment is required for a positive Skills Assessment Outcome. Skills Assessment Outcome: Negative Based on the evidence provided, the qualifications and/or employment described above do not meet the Skills Assessment requirements of your nominated occupation Meanwhile, I deed advisory with them which was positive before proceeding with the full assessment, Am so confused at the moment, don't know what to do .......please my brethren come and help your sister o |

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by trastar(f): 6:18pm On Jan 05, 2018 |
yettyRoot: Basically, they look at these things to cut Year off.. A. Australia degree/ Bsc or highher/ aqf or diploma/ non ICT aqf diploma/ no degree. B. Whether ur degree is ICT major or ICT MINOR C. Whether your course is closely related to the occupation you nominate. All of these factors will determine how many years will be taken off. If your bsc is a 4 Year course, it will be graded as a an AQF. If it's 5, BSc. Then it's definitely an ICT major but I can't say about whether it's closely related or not. So your scenarios are either A. Bsc-ICT Major -closely related. (2 years deducted) B. BSc -ICT Major -not closely related (4 years) C. Aqf diploma -ICT Major- closely related (5years) D. Aqf diplpma -ICT major - not closely related (6 years) There's a document on their site, it's called "summary of criteria. It's a a tabular form. Download it to understand better. Easy to read. |

Obigirl: Always copy the JD of the occupation u want to nominate, tweak it by changing words and rephrasing sentences. Some key terms are important to them. There are things they want to see. Like "advising farmers". Assessment isn't something that can be rushed. Me, I'd even go online and google "JD of Agricultural consultant" I don't know how soon you can apply again tho but keep all of these in mind. Sorry about your outcome. 1 Like |

[quote author=trastar post=63926241] Always copy the JD of the occupation u want to nominate, tweak it by changing words and rephrasing sentences. I did o, I even got sample JD from one or two persons here that have gotten positive assessment and lots of online information. it took me over a month plus to put my JD together, I didn't do it in a hurry because I was being very careful. I guess " what I feared the most has come upon me" |

Hi guys. Please, i need your advice. I have been hearing about Australian PR. I am really confused on what to do in relocating. Am an Accounting graduate with second class upper degree who started training in an international audit firm in lagos in 2010 as an Audit Associate, after three and half years went to further my studies in forensic accounting in United Kingdom where I gained a master degree and had a merit. After study joined back my firm and was an Audit Senior Associate till i left end of 2016. Having in total close to 5 years experience in Financial Audit. Moved as an Accountant reporting to the Financial controller in a growing energy servicing firm from late 2016 till date. My wife is a graduate of law and called to bar with over two years experience in Law practice as a legal practitioner also with a masters degree in Management in United Kingdom. We presently have a kid and am 31 years old. I have researched my eyes out and read everything there is to read. I still can't decide. I think I am even more confused. I need to start the process and also want to know my chances on which one gives us a better chance of getting the PR. For those that have done this before, what is your opinion and how long will the process take as am just about to start. Thanks Kindly help a brother! |

ireayomide2015: You definitely can access as a mathematician based on educational qualifications. However, your work experience isn't closely related to a Mathematician "224112: Develops and applies mathematical principles and techniques to solve problems in all areas of the sciences, engineering, technology, social sciences, business, industry and commerce." If you have one year experience of doing anything close to the above JD. Then your are good to go. I think u can't access as a teacher because you need to have done teaching practice or something like that in Uni. https://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-assessment-for-migration/general-occupations/nominate-an-occupation. This is the link to the assessing body for mathematician. |

The industrial work based experience is the limiting factor. But for that of teaching, I had a12 12 weeks or thereabout teaching practice during my PGDE course which isevide t in my transcript. Will that be sufficient? trastar: |

ireayomide2015: Hello, we have the same qualifications and occupation (Maths Teacher). As stated above, you can't apply as a Mathematician because of the JD and at least a year experience. Related occupations are early childhood teacher - 241111, primary school teacher - 241213, middle school teacher - 241311 and secondary school teacher-241411(Depending on your present level of teaching) AITSL will assess you. They only take IELTS - 8/8/7/7(8 in both speaking and Listening). There must also be an official letter from your university stating that you did the mandatory teaching practice. Quick question pls: Is NTI written on your transcript or the University NTI is affiliated to? I need to apply for mine. |

Good afternoon all, may God bless you. Please i need advice about how to go about this Australia PR. I am a Pharmacist with about 10years experience and I'm currently preparing for my IELTS, the process for Pharmacists is very cumbersome and requires traveling to Australia to write the Pharmacy Board exams but this process is not required if i nominate Industrial Pharmacy as my occupation, but the dilemma is that i have never practice as an industrial pharmacist before ,my experience has been in the community pharmacy and hospital with .My question is that will it be appropriate for me to choose industrial pharmacy |

@Obigirl That's the spirit my sis, you're surely a winner. Take a look at the agricultural technician as suggested. It's only available on the 489 visa for south Australia and Nsw(Riverina to be precise). The comforting news here is that there is high rate of ITAs for 489 applications from South Australia, and Nsw is not doing badly on 489 either. I hope you don't mind the 489 visa though? Anyway, we may all start begging for it with the current trend and the reports on their consultations. Their reservation for a temporary residency visa period before full residency at the moment is the need for Australia to remain a competitive destination for migrants. They are presently looking at ways for migrants to firstly contribute to the economy before they can access their social programs and whenever they find a solution, the implementation will always be through adjusting various visa conditions. |
