Happy new year lovely people. I was searching for something on Google and this thread surfaced.

Suffice it to say that today alone, I have been reading from page 1-30 and seeing that the tread is far gone, I had to come and join my faith with yours.

April this year will be my 2years after white wedding. I took in after 5 months in my first year of marriage but lost it after a month.

Had to do a scan and blood tests when what I thought was a late period lasted for more than a week. That was how I knew it was actually a miscarriage.

Then I took in again in January last year and carried it for 6 months only to bring forth my fruit before time.

It was a painful ride for me, but I recently rekindled hope that God will do it again and that I shall carry to full term.

Please send baby dust my way while I pray along with all TTC ladies on this thread.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. God bless you all!

@ happymummy Abeg when can I start BD with dh? It's exactly 7weeks after the surgery. I thank God for his grace and mercies. Still feel pain on the cut and lower abdomen. The place feels numb. Today is dh bday and would love to do it but don't want to cause any issues.

A friend that did hers years ago advised that I wait for. Three months before bd with dh and he must use CD. And I can start ttc after 6months. I need to allow the womb to heal.

Just one day of bd will not hurt abi

Cuppymummy:
It's nice that you're proactive about your reproductive health. However, like mztubsy has said, try not to be anxious because anxiety has negative effects on your hormones.

What you can do is:

take care of your general health, ensure you and your partner are free of infection.

eat healthy- reduce carbs and replace with protein, eat more fruits and veggies especially in form of smoothies.

Take folic acid, you and your hubby

Download an ovulation app to help you predict your fertile window and ovulation. Follow the instructions and log in your history and data regularly.

Remember, don't stress, pray more, meditate on God's word, sing, smile and be happy and continue to be kind to everyone especially children.

Wishing you a speedy bfp!
thank you very much cuppymummy I have been taken folic acid alone so I will involve dh too also I will go for test next to rule out infection though no sign thanks

mztubsy:
severe abdominal pains can be symptoms of varieties of things. Kindly see a doctor who will give proper medical counsel and do that as fast as possible. Last time I felt like this, I was infected with PID. I'm glad I was in tune with my body and I didn't take chances. Once you see a doc, you will be asked to do some tests which will give adequate clarity on what's really going on there.... Ovulation pains are mild and not excruciating like youve described so I'd suggest you see your doc.

mztubsy, thanks for your contribution. Concerning the PID, pls what were your symptoms? what was your treatment plan like? can it be treated naturally? I'm asking these questions cos my sister in law was diagnosed of it yesterday and she's so worried, she plans going to her doc by weekend. But I just want to hear from someone who has gone through it before.

*NATURE CURE GROUP (NCG)*

The basic principles of Nature cure is that all healing comes from within the body itself (Vix Medicatrix Naturae). That is to say there are self-curative forces, which are inherent in the human body working towards health and healing.

In reality Nature heals and cures, the Naturopathic Physician lends intelligent assistance and interprets Nature's laws for the patient. The doctor treats, Nature heals.

Most people realize, however, that the body is self curative where a cut or broken bone is concerned, but they fail to understand that this is also the case with disease as a whole.

So, as a matter of fact, Herbs, acupuncture, diet and nutrition, and other natural treatments are just means to activate the body's self healing vital forces.

We cannot heal a disease with the remedy we apply but it is the vital force within us, which heals (with Allah's mercy), and we need but to aid it.

Nature or Vital force is that which heals wounds, repairs broken bones, builds blood, tissue and muscles, and eliminate waste matter.

So, Violation of the Nature's laws which is due to ignorance, lack of self control, self indulgence, indifference result to lowered Vitality, abnormal composition of blood and lymph, accumulation of waste matter and poisons in the system.

If you want, therefore, to be free from disease and enjoy good health you must learn to live in tune with Nature.

_Under our system, the patient has to recover twice, once from the disease and once from the remedy._"William Osler"

Good morning all.
Just registered on naiaraland. I actually did that because of this thread which I stumbled upon yesterday.
I must confess, I've never felt welcomed the way I felt when I was reading the posts on this thread. Then and then, it dawned on me that I would not just be on the sideline but partake in the discussion hence my registration.
Got married end of last year and I've been TTC since, I know people will say it's still too early but I planned to take in immediately after the wedding.
I have an irregular menstrual cycle, sometimes , I won't see my period for 4 months.
I went to the doctor in November last year and I was given primolut to induce the period and then clomid. Towards the end of that cycle, I started having the pregnancy symptoms, infact my DH and I were so happy, I was getting overweight, could smell anything from miles away, not until we got to the hospital to do test and I tested negative. I don't think I've felt disappointed in my life the way I felt, well aunty Flo came 3 days later.
I decided to use clomid on my way without going to the hospital in my December cycle, because I was just ashamed going to the hospital, doing all the tests, doctors saying things and all. But when I went through this thread yester and saw @Arlington posts, I've decided to take a break from medicine and see what will happen

PID can cause a serious degree of damage to the female reproductive system if left untreated for a long time. I discovered it just few months into my marriage and I just knew something wasn't right. Abdominal pain, terrible odour during and after sex(it was disgusting), vaginal discharge, hot flushes.....i went to the doc and i had test done. I was placed on antibiotics(i and hubby) for 2 weeks and we had to totally abstain. I was fine afterwards. Went for a recheck and was certified free from it. That's basically every all that there is. The funny thing is some people don't even have little or no symptoms at all. So it's necessary that as women we pay attention so to our body. In severe cases of PID, surgery is even required, that's when the body is badly damaged. I pray that all works well for the person in question....shalom
