The Bible said that the man and the wife are one. It is very easy for every adult to understand that one. The Bible also encourages the wive to be submissive to the man because he is her head. They are one in 'union' but practically they are separate entities with one being the superior and the head. This is very clear to everyone even an atheist. The comparison shows you the oneness that exists between Jehovah and Jesus and the superiority that Jehovah has as a creator and the father FROM whom all things came (Jesus included).
