I wish the like location is bit closer, I think its a good opportunity... I believe IMO has readily available market for pigs and from the description the guy gave me on phone, there will be opportunities for organic farming that would really reduce the cost of production

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Thanks for the opportunity to learn here. I am a pig farmer(local).

I need help regarding feeding. All I do is buy PKC and brewery waste with cassava pills for my pigs but I can't even calculate my profit or ROI.

I require a breakdown of what I should be feeding to get a better result.

Am sure this question would have been answered at some point but seems I can't find the page.

Pls my follow pig farmer and those interested in pig farming Pls, do be careful when buying exotic breeds. 80% of exotic breed been sold to u are not pure breeds they are mixed. My advice to anyone venturing into pig farming or buying exotic pigs should insist on seeing the parent pig of any piglets or grower u are about to buy to avoid stories that touch.

@Lagbaja; Retail price of dry brewery waste in ibadan is between N11-N15 per kg. I had to confirm earlier 2day because I was surprised when you said whole cassava is cheaper than brewery waste.
Mayb the price is location specific though. I've been using spent grain for years but I had to confirm your analysis.
