Peacefullove:Jesus followers will be worshipped by Satan's followers complete the statement. Cut sentence half way and make your assumption. Jesus followers, non followers, angels, people on earth, people in heaven worship jesus. In fact at the name Jesus even knee must bow. Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. The ruler of the whole universe. He is Almighty God. |

Peacefullove:The word of God is clear. The followers of Christ are not going to be worshipped as gods, Nebuchadnezzar did not worship Daniel as a God, if you even read the following verse you will notice that he glorified God. Jesus was worshipped as God. By humans and by Angels. Why are your people afraid to put worship when in reference to Jesus in their bible? But put it when they refer to Satan, dragon, God etc |

1John 5:7 These three are one! John 1:3 All things were made by him! Revelation 19:16 He has a name written, zKing of kings and Lord of lords! Acts 10:36 peace through Jesus Christ (lhe is Lord of all) Colossians 2: 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. The question is not if Jesus is God because he is God whether you believe in him or not. The question is: Who is God to you? Does Jesus fit that bill? If he does, the he is God... If he doesn't, then I don't know who you're serving... But it is not Jesus |

salvation101:English is a neo-language compared to other languages. Jesus is an English word. Why would you accept Jesus if you do not believe in translation? When I told you that you will never sink with a ship I was right. You jumped out of KJV cruise when I spotted out the heresy and embarked on ERV sail. As soon as I spotted a flaw in ERV you jumped out of it and right into Yoruba Bible sail. Very soon we will delve into that Yoruba Bible and I will see how you jump out of that ship. salvation101:How did the name Yahweh come to be? Is there any biblical text in which we can find that name spelt Yahweh? Can you show me? The whole world knows that we only have the Tetragrammaton which is YHWH and it has no vowel. Then where did ‘a’ and ‘e’ come from in the Yahweh? Who put them there? Why were they added? salvation101:You can check the history books, Ma’am. The Pope (who was considered as the apex of Christianity endorsed the name.) The Catholics and Protestants accepted it. It is right in their Bibles or books. The German Bible and French Bible had the name Jehovah. Before the rise of Pentecostalism, the name was well-accepted globally. The few scholars who refuted the name Jehovah were not very much notable not until the 19th century. They could have been brutally murdered were they in the 17th century. There were no other mainstream churches back in the days but Catholic, Protestants and the Orthodox which was another branch of Catholicism. salvation101:Isn’t that hypocrisy? You judge me for accepting Jehovah but you accept Jesus. It is a bigoted criticism of one’s faith. salvation101:Are you for real? LOL you might well be thinking that the same Matthew that you claim to be drunk wrote the book of Matthew in English. Iesous is nowhere in the Greek scriptures. I thought that you claimed to have a Greek dictionary. I am bewildered now. salvation101:Are you deliquescing to homophones now? Are we looking for homophonic words or the transliteration of the word? salvation101:You have jumped from Iesous to Lesous and yet you only ended up in homophone LOL. My question is, when was the name Jesus introduced in the English Language? You seem to have no answer to that. All the rigmarole is to evade the torture that you put yourself in. It has not been such an easy road for you, I guess. But your effervescence in digging up the archaeological hypothesis from je ne sais quoi about the name of Jehovah was sublime. You came like you could tear down a wall with your nails. I am shocked how you have no answers to the name ‘Jesus’. Is Lesous found in any ‘Greek scripture? It is a Greek word? A homophone is not a translation. salvation101:Initially you told me that El and Elohim were the Hebrew word for God. Now You have discovered a new gold mine. Which one do I take from you, Yahweh or El/Elohim? Your Google search button must have worn out on your gadget. I do not know that and I do not find it credible because Adonia has 4 vowels. What happened to the “i” ? And where did the “a” and “e” come from in yAhwEh? The word Yahweh is not found anywhere in the Scriptures. What we have is YHWH. When did it change to Yahweh? Who changed it? Who added the vowels? Why was it added? Answer my questions please. If you do not know the answer, why did you go about smiting Jehovah? I told you that these people did not arm you enough. You see something and you run with it without making sure. Ephesians 5:10 Keep making sure of what is acceptable to God. You just enter your search buttons without digging deep. This is how far you have deviated from God. Your stance has no solid footing. You are running without a baton in a relay. salvation101:Going by that analogy, so is Jesus and Yahweh and all other names in the Bible that stem from Jehovah’s name. salvation101:I just got a list of names from it. Often times I update some files on Wiki but there is a Pentecostal always waiting to edit my update as soon as I check out LOL. salvation101:You have done that many times by jumping from iesous to Lesous to Jesu to Yesu hahaha. You should represent Nigeria in the high jump event in the coming Olympic. salvation101:We do not refute the word Yahweh, but we go by the most widely accepted translation Jehovah. It is in concordance with many other names Jehovah-Jireh, Jehonadab, Jehoiakim etc. |

salvation101:I answered you question. You can check it up again. I had no assumption I gave you an explanation. A comprehensive explanation. Yes, your Bible (ERV) has a heretic rendition of John 1:18. You cannot defend that. Also in Philippians 2:7-8 your Bible inserted another heretic text. It is absolutely deceiving. You can compare it with other Bible translations. the word Begotten is missing and as someone who claims to have the Greek Bible, you cannot feign oblivion to it. My ideology places no limit on God but it is a question that needs an answer. As recorded in the Bible it is obvious to you and me that Thomas called God. |

Hairyrapunzel:@salvation101 can you believe that Hairyrapunzel believes in Jehovah and you do not? Will you guys settle this score among yourselves? The Bible says that Jehovah is greater than I AM John 14:28 New Living Translation Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really loved me, you would be happy that I am going to the Father, who is greater than I am. International Standard Version You have heard me tell you, 'I'm going away, but I'm coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would rejoice that I'm going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. NET Bible You heard me say to you, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. Yeshua also calls Jehovah his God. based on John 20:17 who is your God? |

salvation101:Satan quoted the scripture and you said that he quoted verbatim. How else has he supposed to "quote" the scripture? Jesus quoted another scripture. You clearly understand the line of the conversation. Satan said "they will lift you up" and that was preceded by 'God will send his angels'. Jesus said that God (that was mentioned earlier) should not be put to the test. That was a conversation, Ma'am. John 1:29 referred to Jesus as the lamb of God. What does it mean? |

salvation101:Funny how you have no answer to my question. How could Jesus have responded in such manner? That would give a room for the devil to work on him. He responded using another scripture. He could as well say do not put me to the test. James 1:13 do you agree that God cannot be tempted by evil? |

removetheturban:says who? I av no problem with you calling Yahweh as Jehovah or God or Chukwu,But don't go about telling me that because the name is not in my bible, den my Bible is wrong( like u av been doing) wen u and i know dat it wasn't the original name in scripture. The name translated as God in the new testament is Theos and the disciples kept using the word repeatedly. The word has been existing in greek mythology long before they wrote their new testament books. Do u know the word most languages use for God has been existing long before Christianity came? In yoruba for example, the word olorun is gotten from the word olu orun wch means king of the heavens. Just like Theos means God or god.. No matter how u try to put it, these names where made by man and calling God by dat name doesn't take anything from him. The disciples called him Theos and krios and it took nothing away from his divinity. I hope my point is clearer now The Bible says that Jehovah is greater than I AMdo you believe in the word of God in Philippians 2 wch said Jesus Christ willingly made himself void and humbled himself to be a servant? If you do den it answers ur question here Yeshua also calls Jehovah his God.Iserve the same God who shared worship in the book of revelation and there was no problem between them.. |

Wow! We will talk more about this in another thread. Firstly, there is nothing like Neshama in the Bible. That word is an alien word to biblical Hebrew. One thing I have come to find out is that you seem to be using the Israeli's Hebrew as opposed to the biblical Hebrew. Check that! You are not a spirit. You are a man. John 1:49 why did Nathaniel not call Jesus a son of God and not God? salvation101: |

removetheturban:really? He responded with scripture? Wasn't it scripture the devil quoted initially dat u are saying he should av replaced his angel with your angel? James 1:13 do you agree that God cannot be tempted by evil?of course i do agree but some ppl still go about trying to tempt God hence one of the 10 commandment was dat we mustn't try to tempt God and dat was d verse Jesus used in defense against the scheme of the devil |

salvation101:No, it is not. The only name written down by God himself in black and white is YHWH. Why is it missing from your Bible if you do not accept the translation? Olorun is also a man-made name. salvation101:So Jehovah is greater than Jesus because Jesus came to the earth? How about before he came to the earth in Proverbs 8:22 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 22 “The Lord made me in the beginning, long before he did anything else. I really pity her. If she had used this her energy the proper way just like Saul, she would have had a close relationship with Jehovah. They are just using her and deceiving her. I am sure that she has some doubts now about the teachings that she has been receiving from her pastors. They do not tally with what she has learned so far from the Bible. They might cast her out of the church is she says some things against them soon. Peacefullove: |
