I know you probably aren't a Christian. That's why it sounds funny to use the Blood in such blasphemous manner. Everything isn't a joke! The Blood of JESUS should never be used in anything as stupid as this. Be warned so you don't destroy your career/destiny even before it starts.
Fanaticism is killing! How sure are you the Op(I, myself) intended calling "Jesus"? Does Jeeeez mean Jesus? Could "Jeeez" not have meant Jezebel in the first place? And look at the picture very well it is as real as you, yourself. It wasn't nollywood, it happened for real and almost all the newspapers in Nigeria said about a pastor ordering the couple to place their hands on each other's private part for sanctification. The picture went viral...

So if you wanna be a fanatic, you are free to be. Who am I to stop you?

But next time, watch well before you cross some lanes.

Best regards.

They're complimenting the OP because they probably don't know the difference between Introduction and Traditional wedding.

It is not too hard to edit the topic, so others (men) won't start buying goats, palm oil, yam and inviting friends (Yoruba demons) for Introduction

It is important to note the difference to avoid undue embarrassments.

Meanwhile, my reasons for not finding it too funny isn't because of the error. Truth is I have seen this post times without number online. Here is one from 2016;

OP plagiarize the whole post sha. Smh.

I agree. OP should edit post. This is engagement or the traditional ceremony.
Are you married? Why should the post be edited? Introduction these days is more or less like an engagement.

You go to the family of your fiance with your friends and relatives, with at least two baskets, one containing fruits, the other containing provisions depending on your capability.

After the intro, the two families talk about the wedding date while the engagement list is given to the groom-to-be.

That's all

Smiles, the list can never be for the introduction. You are only given the list after the introduction.

The items you gonna go with in the first place to your intro isn't anything other than fresh fruits and little provisions.

Dear OP,

There is a difference between introduction and traditional wedding (engagement).

The illustrations you have here do not apply to a typical Yoruba Introduction. Intro is strictly between two families (selected representatives from both families).

bross as you wan spoil market with your over sabi

And at the end of this long epistle, tell me what you u have gained... Is it today you have been seeing recurring posts on the front page of nairaland? And does the post look like an academic journal which shouldn't be plagiarized or for which one person has been patented?

It is always very cheap to find fault. The notion behind the post is nothing but to make you laugh out the stress of today's work.

So what's your point actually? Saying the Op should edit the post to read "engagement". Is it on the engagement day you'll be given the engagement list?

I think I have passed this stage; and YES, one can make the Introduction even more elaborate than a proper white wedding. Sometimes, it depends on how much you have, and most of the time, some love to keep it "low", without attracting too much attention.

A lot of people are learning already. Ignore the perceptions about my initial post and let's keep learning. You'd be surprised to know the number of single men with no iota of idea what it takes to do a decent Introduction.

I didn't know too until two weeks to my Intro. Let's keep learning, there's absolutely no crime in learning and laughing.

I have plans to marry from their region this year, so don't spoil my calculations, puhleeze! angry
