Very true.. i can attest to that. We number 1 to 40 Muslims in federal university dutse. And it is same situation in most Northern universities. We haven't been given a chapel for fellowship but they're currently in the last phase in the construction of the third mosque in the school. It's really painful and nothing is been done about it.

How many Muslims are in University of Benin, Benin? Let alone going deep south like University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Everything in Naija is sentimental and bias across all divide. No one should play the victim card.

There are more Christians students than there are Muslims in Northern universities. Check the 2017/2018 KASU admission list, more than 60% of the admitted students are Christians.

Also check the list for ABU particularly medicine and pharmacy.Do thesame for KASU pharmacy, den come back and check if what you wrote make any sense to you.

I doubt this. I know for a fact that many southerners, especially Igbos, are in the employ of Northern universities and they also gain admission easily.

I know of emeritus professor Akinkugbe.A CHRISTIAN University of Ibadan emeritus professor of medicine Who was the VC of Ahmadu bello University when el rufai was a student and the pioneer VC of the University of Ilorin the same university named Islamic university by the hate filled Igbo people.

How many muslims apply to UNN?
Atleast FG schooks admit on catchment area basis, how many muslims igbos are in the east that falls within UNN catchment area?

Can you compare that to the large indigenous christian populations in the north being marginalizaed?

Indigenous muslim igbos from the eastern states are very few , so ofcourse, you won't find many muslims being admitted in UNN.

Indigenous northern christian population on the other hand is large, we should be seeing more christians.

This is very very untrue. If you compare the admission list of A.B.U to that of U.N.N, it is very apparent that the northern universities are even more liberal. Go through the names the lecturers in both schools you'll know the truth.

If we have atleast 20% igbo muslim population in the east and UNN does not reflect it in their admissions, then you would have a point.

There are less than 1% igbo muslims from the UNN catchment areas in the eastern region.

Why are you then expecting to see an overwhelming muslim population in UNN?

These assertions are true,mostly in the core north regions.Eg,Gombe, Even indigenes that are Christians are denied a lot of benefits.I served there and I saw it.

This is old news na, nowadays it's hard for Christians to get admission to study medicine or pharmacy in northern universities. They usually use the cover of catchment area or indigeneship as if there are no indigenous Christians. Many of those that slip true usually have names that are indecipherable.
