The police wives? Or female police officer that were abducted during an ambush few months ago. The video has been online and you can see the A-jet firing rockets.

The aircraft definitely went down in a territory controlled by own forces. A control surface or something important definitely got hit then the helo started stalling.

Definitely it's not been shot down by any terrorist AA, there is no ignore of projectile hit or smoke if a flying aircraft his been hit.

It's definitely a mechanical or technical fault..!

Wear and tear. The aircraft is been over stressed in my opinion.

I wonder how often maintenance are being performed on it.

Wow looks like a pretty good crash landing, I don’t think this was human error just like the AW109 that crash landed in water.

I saw so many daft comments on NAFs Facebook post by ignorant individuals trying to claim that our pilots simply aren’t well trained, One would think that with the sheer amount of experience these pilots are logging in flight hours per week they’d be experts at what they do by now, must have been a technical issue with the aircraft if you ask me.

that looks like Loss of tail-rotor thus causing the helicopter to spin uncontrollably.which causes tail boom to break, after it hit an obstacle.this definitely happened when it was about to land

I must admit, that is one of the best crash landing I have ever seen. Most helicopters end up upside-down, with mangled rotor blades after crashing. I am impressed! What do Boko Haram terrorists have to say about this. I don't usually watch their propaganda videos but I am looking forward to seeing this one.

The crash land was well controlled (judging from the pic). what I even appreciated more was that the Army provided security with the deadly shilka incase boko decides to play hyena and the carcass
