I agree with you, as a country we face very unconventional issues if it means coming up with an unorthodox methods to arrest those issues then so be it, maybe we should militarize certain units of the NPf because CTU and Mopol certainly aren’t getting the job done and while we are on the topic what is the job/mandate of civil defense because I always assumed it was to fill in the gab between the police and the army

According to the president official twitter account, 10 units of police SF have been deployed to Kano, any idea how many men that translates to?

What do you guys think?

As a military enthusiast (and for fellow enthusiasts) I also highly recommend this guys channel on youtube - extremely informative

despite being a sock-puppet, he gives extremely comprehensive reveiws and scenarios. The video they made on the Kirov Battle Cruiser v Burke Destroy was so technical it gave me a headache shocked grin

Nice video and analysis, it's sure Israel will come out the winner but with high lost and cost it will be for them.

And it will be a lengthy war not just like the last one they fought that only lasted for weeks.

To top it all, Israeli is assumed to have nuclear weapons which might be deadly punch against Egypt. The Israeli might want to use them Street a last resolve.

Me think they need to be taught some critical skills needed for the type of issues we have. I think of what apartheid era had in Koevoet and begin to fall in love

Civil Defence? chilling for pension and catching men carrying too much kegs of black substance when they begin to feel irrelevant grin

Those guys in Benue are mostly herdsmen. Then the use of police SF, MOPOL etc is very useless in Nigeria if withall their training, they can't handle herdsmen. Their jobs shouldn't be anti robbery or anti kidnapping alone.

The military should not be involved yet except guys from JTF that operates with the police which are mostly regulars. These guys too are good at what they do.

True. I see many of them Coming to the bank to apply for small loans and overdrafts while looking so unfit. They should be given some really clear mandate

Herbsmen you just say like that.....

herbsmen who carry ak riffles around and understands the terrain...!

dont forget they ambushed and killed some NA soldiers sometimes last year in Niger State, very gury images of the dead soldiers.

All what am saying his our police cant curtail the menance of these herbsmen, even the MOPOLS who are trained by soldiers are not properly equiped to handle them.

Dude, that's basic English. I don't know how you don't understand that.

It simply means, buying an aircraft is not the same as buying a grocery from a store.

He meant that they are not something you just walk into countries that sells them, pick the ones you want, pay for them and go home with them. You too u sabi all the nitty-gritty of ordering for such equipment.
