"your reputation is everything... guard it with your life"... used this line to score points in an interview... lol
True, my reputation is everything, don't want anyone ruining it for me and I tend to disassociate and disengage myself with anything or anyone that will ruin it or try to ruin it for me forever.

I don't like what I hate.

That is best of all the laws. Even the author couldn't write any reversal about it.

sad

The author of that book has this evil aura which can be felt through reading his books.

I read one of his books, 'The art of Seduction' about 8 years ago and I started feeling so different from who I used to be. Nevertheless, I completed the massive book but picked the good points and dropped the bad ones

Good read for Nigerian politicians and business men in cutthroat industries. The book has an evil aura and the author doesn't look like someone who practise his laws. grin

I read some comment where some people called the book devilish, even the author wrote a Reversal for all the laws, the only law that doesn't have a Reversal is Law 5, which states "So much Depends on your Reputation -- Guard it with your life". That law is still the best for me, if you destroy your reputation, you can never have it back

Number is still sacrosanct. Without playing by the tenets of the first rule, one can't get far.

Also 48 laws is common now, try and get other books written by the same author like 33 strategies of war and mastery.

Hello. Know which site I can get soft copy of mastery?

Write a book filled with anecdotes that'll pass as wise words and make money through it.

Lol

Those words are applicable and practical most times, especially for particular situations.

It's just about wisdom when practicing them

@ripbubu, no. You didn't get me. In the book, Law 15, says something about crushing one's enemies spiritually, physically etc. I think I gave out the book. But I still remember that law. What's is saying in essence is that from the time of Moses, leaders have been dealing ruthlessly with their enemies. But not only leaders, individuals as well. Pharoah wouldn't bulge until the last plague, where all first born sons died. That was the coup de grace.

However don't take those laws too seriously because Robert Greene the author after knowing all these laws is still not and near the list of most powerful men grin
