if you have ever driven a 2005 Corolla Sport you'd know that it's a pretty fast car. At least in a convoy the V6 car in front of me doesn't go to far before I catch up. Anyway I'm glad I could make you laugh.

Corolla sports isn't a fast car. The V6 car doesn't go far because the driver chooses not to go far so don't celebrate because of this but count your blessings that you didn't meet a V6 car being driven by a merciless driver.

I do drive a corolla sports 2006 and the Acura TL 2010. Both belongs to a friend.

I do 120 with his Corolla though against them Hyundais and Kia lolz.

The day I drove the Acura TL I almost skidded on a ramp I thought I could accelerate like the corolla.

I told the owner he laughed so hard and told me he can’t even drive the corolla for anything that he only got it for the sake of his folks who likes using his car sometimes.

If I pedal down so hard on the corolla it takes about 3 seconds to give me a “”response””. Mind the quote

If I pedal down on the Acura it gives me an immediate “”””””””””Aggressive response“””””””””””””” mind the quotes.

Car rule 101; never compare an i4 to a v6 in term of performance

My Mum's 1998 infiniti qx4 fully loaded which I drove last Dec to the East(Abia state) was doing 140 at low rave (below 2000rpm) and I can tell u this, no i4 engined car overtook me, but those v6 & v8 I met on the road got no chills

Trust me, i'll have to rev the corolla so hard that i can hear the car roar for me to accelerate from say 40/60 up to 80/100, if i should try that with a Benz or Acura V6, i would be on a 160/KM.

every car has effective torque range and effective horse power range it's along the rev range. not every car you open the tap completely wide open throttle. you'd only produce noise, burn gas, may cause wheel spin and less result. most Japanese torque starts from 2000-4500rpms and effective horsepower build up starts from same 2000-5500rpm. remember they're built and tuned for low end torque. keep a Camry 2.4l at 3000-4500rpm ad watch the damages it will do torque and acceleration wise, although it would naturally stay lower than that.

Yeah, I was amazed too. Honestly, I did not even reach 150-160km/hr. My max speed was 140km/hr. That car de give me joy (in terms of stability, fuel 👌 and movement)

A manual Corolla or Camry with 5 or 6 gears is faster than automatic transmission.
