I have been asked to bring my passport, travel insurance and to indicate my travel dates. Do I need to book a flight and send the itinerary to indicate the travel dates? Or can I just indicate the travel dates in writing. Also how can I go about this travel insurance.

Congratulations @fuzzyhuzzy, dats means that your visa application has been approved.

You have to submit a travel insurance of the specified no of months the embassy asked you to submit.

Book a flight, preferably German air carrier Lufthansa Airline. Print your flight details or flight inteneray.

Print a one page paper containing your informations as well as your visa application ref with your intended travel date. Note that date must tally with your insurance and flight.

Yeah I already applied to the school and they said they'll get back to me by mid February because all their accommodations are already occupied and I've already used wg-gesucht to search for an apartment but I haven't been able to find any available ones yet. Do you have any other suggestions based on your own experience as to how I can find an accommodation? I would be resuming on the 5th of March.

Sign both. Only German documents are legally binding in Germany.

Any will be accepted. Typed will be preferred though.

you can get prepaid courier envelope at any popular courier offices like DHL and FedEx.
you can take your transcript along with you, don't forget to make 2 copies of it too.

For those who have got their visa‘ congratulations.

Please, if i may ASK did you guys pay any tuition fees before you sent for the Interview or your school is tuition free?
