Hey guys
Please, apart from tax clearance, what else do i need to submit being self employed? I checked previous threads but couldn't find a list of documents for self employed applicants

According to CIC, self-employed applicants are required to submit the following: Articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience).

Thank you so much for your help I got three NOCs to choose from now. Please what happens when my JD cuts across two NOCs which should i choose?
Newmum0615:
I don't think 7202 is it. My opinion though. Have you checked 0211 or 9212? Your JD shows you are a supervisor.

I need to be sure I am not alone,
Got passport request in December 2017 which coincided with a training I was due to attend in India, got to India on the 26th December and sent my passport (and that of my dependents) to Accra on the 27th via DHL, it got to them on the 2nd of January and today is the 16th and I am still waiting, anyone with an idea of how long it takes for them to issue visa? has anyone submitted and is still waiting? I am due to come back to Naija on the 16th of February but growing impatient as my friend who did his late last year only stayed with them for 10 days.
Any info will be helpful.

Hello All,

I am filling my post ITA form and I need advice.

So I lived in uk for 4 years, 2 years on student visa and 2 years on temporal resident permit. So basicly, uk was my base for 4 years.

Under travel history, I am confused how to document this because I traveled in and out of uk over 12 times (uk - Nigeria).

I can't remember the exact dates and the stamps are not even clear.

So I have simply filled September 9th 2007 to October 15th 2012. I'm I to fill all those short 3/4 days visit to Nigeria in between my 4 years stay in uk?

P.S We declined the Dec 20th ITA and have now gotten an unbiased ITA.

Thank you all.

No you can’t fill 2007 to 2012. You need to try to figure out those stamps as much as possible and yes, even if the travel was for one day, you will be required to fill it in detail.

Well done to you on the ITA. May the path be smooth for you.

Guys please help with this 86 pages of POF to less than 4mb...submission deadline is today...please...slept 5am this morning because of this and still no headway. Need a way to compress to around 85 to 90 DPI

@balogunsam, I hope you have sorted this already. If not, you might want to try going to an internet cafe and seek help with their computer guys. Had a similar issue a while back and I had used online compressing sites to reduce to 7.7mb on my own and the sites couldn't reduce further. But the guy used Corel Draw to further help me reduce to 3.98MB.

If you're anywhere near the Computer Village, Ikeja, I can describe the particular cafe I did mine from. Very easy and on the road.

Wish you all the best.

I av a contact of the woman that actually batch the list for sign off. Mrs Olaiyan... but can't post no here.

You will choose your preferred test location. British Council will send an email to you few days before your test date confirming the venue for your test. You cannot decide the center/venue.

Observation
Please guys when trying to answer newbies let us try to be specific if we can't refer them to pages, some replies might be confusing at times. Like telling a new be to evaluate only the highest qualification, what if there is an avenue to claim two or more degrees. Let's be mindful of our answers.

You are welcome to the DIY thread.

First use this to check you crs scorehttp://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Prepare well, register and write IELTS (General) and aim for LSRW 8777

Then evaluate your highest degree alone (Masters, Bsc or HND+ND)

Try and read page 0 part 3

okay, Thanks

One reason may may be number of years of experience. When you use the CRS tool, you input number of years and you may have rounded up your number of years. When you fill the EE profile, it asks for dates but does not round up your number of years so for example, if you have 22 months experience, the system won’t see it as 2 years but a year.

Looks very bright.
You can use the CRS tool to check.
Evaluate your degree via WES.
Get a band 6 ielts score.
And start now.

good evening everyone,

This is the breakdown of your score (with an assumption that you scored CLB 9 in the IELTS test).

Work Experience: 9 points

Education: 21 points

Language: 24 points

Age: 12 points

Total : 66 Points.

With your current profile, you are not eligible for the Federal Skilled Worker program. You need to score 67 points out of 100 to be eligible.
