uni-assist Prufbericht, what does that mean? Just check the content. Maybe is the Evaluation result, but you don't need to forward anything to school, Uni-assist will do that themselves. Unless your school require you to get your VPD from uni-assist and send to them. But if that is not the case, you don't need to send anything to school. The PDF soft copy of my admission letter was sent through email, and it was written that the original admission letter will be sent through post that same day, but I'm yet to get it.
Thanks. uni-assist Prufbericht, I think that's the evaluation result. Though the content in the pdf was written in German. When do you intend leaving.

There's one written in English I think, they normally send it in two languages, which are English and German

I would be ungrateful if I do not inform this lovely family that I received a mail requesting for my travel date and insurance on Tuesday. This family notified me of an earlier date after booking Jan 19 which seem to far for me.

So I was wondering if it's necessary for me to book a flight before sending the date or just notify them in writing of my intending travel date with my insurance.

Once again big thanks to all of you.

Congrats!

More testimonies will come for as many that are hopeful.

Let the A.M keep dropping!

You haven't met trojrobert and blackdeutch. I even Pmd @metabolite01 he refused to acknowledge. Is that one nice? anyways just kidding and I must admit we have really nice guys on here.

Lol

Bro I've not been able to access my mail for about 2 days now. Ive not even been on Whatsapp or facebook since then. I dnt ignore any p.m no matter how busy I am, except I've not gotten access to my mail. You PM someone and the person hasn't responded doesn't mean you were ignored. I'm sure it wasn't up to 48hrs yet because I last visited my mail 2 nights ago.

If you are angry about that, please take it easy and pardon me. Never meant to offend anyone either through words or actions, directly or indirectly.

So bro, forgive my manners. I'll check my mailbox right away.

Anyway, we are all nice people here.

Congratulations to everyone that got their Visa.
Concerning getting visa there's alot involved and I beg to defer from the reasons you stated. Some People with Scholarships even have to wait long before they get their visa approved. How fast your visa approval comes is how fast the Alien office you're going to is and how soon the embassy responds to the approval given to them. There have been cases of visa being approved at the Alien office and embassy not releasing the response in time.
All in all it takes the grace of God.
Peace

Bro, for fairness and justice, please just wait for the admission letter to come first.

There are a lot of persons with A.L now but yet to get appointment date. So dragging the few available dates with them won't be right.

So just keep the faith and hope alive. More importantly, be prayerful. Your admission letter will come by God's Grace, then you can immediately go for any available date. Relax, God will surely make a way for you bro.

I assure you, very soon you will have a testimony to share.

It is even possible to get it in 5 working days. Someone has testified before. My observation, if you are very straight forward with the Germans, they would be very straight forward with you. Prepare well, be clear, have all your documents and the road ahead of you will be without bumps. The reason why some applications take so long is when you give them reasons to question your integrity and if you are actually going for what you claim to be going for.

Well Said. He's ryt. You've said it all.

Sincerity matters a lot.

I went with enough supporting documents and all sort of evidence.

Apart form all d mandatory documents listed in d embassy webpage, everything stated or mentioned in my CV was backed/supported with a document.

I went with my pre-primary certificate, employment letters, my B.Sc transcript, B.Sc statement of result, B.Sc certificate, my primary certificate, my JSS 3 certificate, waec certificate (including d online printout and d new scratch card). All my membership certificates, all my industrial training certificates, all my professional training certificates, all attended conference certificates, my birth certificate (local government council, not NPC) alongside age declaration.

Uniben made a mistake in the middle name of my certificate, so I got a letter from Uniben to back dat and also did an affidavit of name confirmation, also had to put a document with which I did my Uniben 100L clearance showing d correct name I used in applying to Uniben, did both handwritten and typed motivation letter (VO preferred and collected typed motivation letter).

Just try to ensure u clear all doubts in absentia knowing full well u won't be there when they will be deciding your application.

To add to dat, prepare well for your interview. Get as many interview transcripts as possible from those who have gone before you and practice all questions like that will be d same questions u gonna be asked.

My interview was like a brother to sister interaction to the extent that I neva wanted the interview section to end (I'm sure d nice and calm VO also wished so, Lol).
Above all, get the GOD FACTOR

Mind You: Getting all the above mentioned documents is not a guarantee of visa approval, but it surely will go a long way in clearing some unnecessary doubts. Like stated in the embassy webpage, getting all required/mandatory documents is not a guarantee of getting your visa approved, but its a prerequisite. So please, dnt fully depend on my personal case as a means of visa success.

Aside from proper preparation and oda things, God is the major factor in everything.

A.M fall on those that are still waiting and expectant. Amen!

Nice. This is also what i intend doing. But did they collect all these original conference certificates alongside your other academic certificates.

Also my birth cert is not npc oo. Is that why you had to do age declaration?

The VO returned some after going through them. So I believe its better they see it and return it instead of them asking for it and you can't provide it simply because you didn't go with it.

Yes, I added an affidavit of age declaration because my birth certificate wasn't that of NPC. The VO accepted and kept both the birth certificate and the age declaration

Hallo People,
Some of us here were hit by the “no more visa interview” plague last year. I in particular had just got admission notifications only to realize I could no longer book for 2017 interview. No recommendation was made by the embassy to overcome the trauma of losing a full year of planning and resources. Most importantly I want to try again but I still haven’t found a solution because all the schools I saw on DAAD offering Meng/MSc in Civil Engineering areas in English give admission notification in August and expect enrollment by October 1st. They also don’t have option of deferring to summer even as they are all in the winter semester. This doesn’t fit the Visa processing time at all. It seems the embassy theory is not in par with school theory. Almost like it was designed for German and EU citizens alone. The visa processing is a journey of its own but what if you don’t even get the chance to apply.

Some of the gurus here may have critical information to help. Coz man don Dey old for here. @justwise, @negro1986 and co, if I no mention your name you sef Na guru no vex. Abeg I won finish masters before I marry. I suppose hammer early.

Hey guys I would really appreciate some advice or views here. Especially from you guys that AM has dropped on.

Well, the dhl price depend on some factors: Your current location and the destination.

If its for blocked account, then it should be addressed to the Deutsch Bank address in Germany.
If its for the student visa, then it will be addressed from the Germany consulate in Lagos to your personal address or any address you intend using.

Price from Warri Delta State as at late last year: International (To Germany) its about N18,300 or so. Then if its local (To or from Lagos) then its about N4200 or so.
Like I said, it depend on which state your are, as it can be lower or higher.

Sorry over the situation, every disappointment is a blessing. Relax, you will surely overcome very soon and your dream of schooling in Germany must actualize by God's Grace.
I was equally affected by the winter 2017/2018 visa appointment trauma, but its all a thing of the past now.

My opinion: Why not choose some other courses that you are sure are done both in summer and winter semesters, or if possible, courses/schools that you can easily defer your admission to the next semester since this limited appointment slot is becoming a regular thing and its becoming tighter every semester.
Once u're in Germany, you can apply for your preferred course or switch over to it.

Just my opinion.

Please our gurus and ogas in the house, kindly advice in your own opinions.
