Yesterday being saturday, I visited one of my friends... We had a little conversation about our christian lives, then he told me how he has been into masturbation since his early age 17. Though he was lured by a friend and now he is 27. He knew God at the age of 20. Now he is addicted to masturbation don't know how to come out of it,

Please where will this one start? Though he is not married still hustling for life. Solution please....

Sometimes, there are some of our problems that doesn't need prayers to be solved but it requires us to make a firm DECISION!! Your friend can not totally stop masturbation all at once, it's requires a gradual processing and steps to follow.. tell him to engage his mind and time on reading meaning articles, engage in decent activities, so as to get his mind preoccupied. The act of masturbation is as the result of the ENERGY produced by the body, which finds a way to leave the body.. Hence when this accumulated energy stored up in the body is not let out, one will be forced to release this energy in any form in which masturbation is one of such forms!! Firstly, let him acknowledge that it is a sin; and that masturbation is hindering some blessings of GOD in his life no matter how blessed he is at the moment.

That's not true. When Paul said in Rom7:19 "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do". That He sins does not make him an unbeliever. He is struggling and in bondage of sin, the same way a lot of us who struggle with lust(secretly), anger, malice, lies, back biting etc.
He just need a deeper experience of Jesus and all will be over. But a lot of us are religious and religion will never deliver a man from the bondage of sin.

All Christians are sinners brother. Only Christ himself was sinless.
