Pls, I want to invest N250k into a barbing saloon. That's what is on my mind for now. But some other person suggested drycleaning business.

I work with a private firm & earn N75k monthly. I won't be the one to manage the business if I open any. I would get someone to manage it for me.

Please, I need advice.

Or any other suggestion apart from the two mentioned above.

You can do both in the same shop/office, all you need to do is to do a dermacation in the shop/office. However if you cant afford that. Then I will advice you pick barbing salon in a very good location

Bathing is best but pick a good location either residential or a place where there is night life.

N/B; Never employ these 2 sets of ppl for your saloon or laundry biz.
1) Family or Friends; They would take your biz for granted and rob u cuz they know dia is a level u won't reach to recover ur money.
2) Religious ppl; They are d biggest hypocrites! They would cloud ur judgment on dem with their religousness and rob u blind!

He can still run it. He just have to go spend a full day once in a while in other to get and an average of what to expect daily. If it falls short u sack him!

Use the money for another idea

It's easier to manage a barbing saloon since you won't be there in person. You just need to set up the place and let the barber(s) pay you an agreed sum weekly or daily for using your facility. They'll buy the provisions they need themselves. Make proper investigation on the minimum amount a barber can make and remit.

It depends on your location. Look at the location properly. If there are too many salons, it may not be advisable. But if there a few, go for it. The same should also apply for the dry cleaning business. Business is majorly about location, not exactly what you are doing. Look for a need that is not being satisfied and fill in the void. Both are nice. Have a brother here in Ekiti into barbing. He has made at a least a lot for his age. Living comfortably (house, car and a motorcycle for business) and has kids he's taking care of

He's not going to run the business himself which means no passion for the two jobs. In the end the biz will collapse.

Both are good biz, hope you knowledge about both biz if not u will be a dummy in d biz while ur employees fat up wit it. Learn abt both. Best of luck
