She should have reported the case at the nearest police station the very minute it happened.
Allowing the guy to initiate a police action somehow throws up credibility issues.

The police will wonder why your girlfriend didn't report immediately to them or atleast visit a hospital for medical attention if she is indeed a victim of something as serious as attempted rape or attempted murder(depending on who you ask).

However, the police won't believe his tales but might want to exploit the situation for monetary gain.

When you get to the station be civil and try to defend your girl and vouch for her integrity.

If the police are acting funny then you can 'lawyer up' and insist the case be charged to court. Don't let them intimidate her into admitting she is at fault or discouraging her from pursuing an attempted rape case.

I got there with my lawyer friend. They haven't locked her up yet. She told them she will only make any statement infront of he lawyer. So we got there. She wrote her statement with the supervision of my lawyer friend.

They released her without any bail money. But they told us to visit the guy at the hospital. The guy is still alive, with deep depression on his head. I fear my girl ooo. His head just sink enter like gutter.

He has been sleeping still yesterday. He hasn't woken up yet. But he is alive. I saw his girlfriend. She looks sober and worry.

She could not buy the drug doctor prescribed. I gave her money to go get the drug. And I also volunteered to pay his hospital bill.

My lawyer says we should be the one to go on offensive and call for indictment. But the pregnant lady is helpless, she won't be able to get a lawyer. And the same girl is my girl's childhood friend. It's becoming tricky...I have to do everything possible to safe my girls neck no matter what
