Eruditor:I'm talking about Lou and Klay in that post. Not PG... |

VivaLaByke:So you're now castigating Tatum cos of just one game? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 2:42pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Forget about his stats two years ago...This season,P.G beat Klay both offensively and defensively...whichever way you want to look at it.... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:49pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
aliondo:Castigate ke? ![]() No ooo....I'm just giving back the same energy Celdïck fans give out anytime TomTom makes a layup. ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:58pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Decale:So which other 3rd option in the whole of the NBA is averaging better than Klay? PG is having that year and we should still not look at the stats? How many shots will KD and Curry need to miss before a 3rd option on a team will get 15ppg let alone 20 or is the standard different because it is a GSW player? That is the part that will keep me up at night. If Thunders need PG to be relevant that means Kawhi was overhyped, no? Or both Curry and KD are dispensable since the team went on runs when either player was available (meanwhile, in those runs, I bet you Klay's numbers were better than every other 2nd option in the NBA at the time). So enlighten me again how Klay is being carried? Or which of the whole players in the NBA will not be carried offensively (add Lou and PG) when they are 3rd wheeling KD and Curry. This different standard una dey give GSW players get as e be. Very soon same players who do not deserve to be all-stars will be regarded as 4 hall of famers when they want to beat Lebron in another finals. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:00pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
aliondo:I asked how? Efficiency? 3pt%? 3pt made? or because one plays for OKC and the other GSW? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:10pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Points per game, rebounds, assists, steals (currently leads in the nba in steals),etc.. If i want to be too thorough,i will even use the highlighted text above against Klay but i prefer players to be given fair treatment irrespective of the teams they are playing for.. Green in my own opinion is not even playing at all star level this season..Lets be honest with ourselves. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:13pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Paul George is a forward/front court player, so is Draymond. Regardless of PGs versatility the latter should not make it ahead of him. That blind support I speak of at work again. Being first second or third option doesn't matter. If that's the case compare him to Lou who started the year off as a super sub and has better stats than him. And PS Paul George is a second/third option on a Russell Westbrook team, that's like a fifth option on any other team. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:20pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Vorkalth:Stats came as a starter and primary scorer. You are right that PG is a forward. Replying different people got me in a mix. Like I said PG is good and having an okay season but recency bias is what is confusing a few of you. PG and his Thunders were until recently a laughing stock. I do not understand how they deserve these all star spots all of a sudden. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:24pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:If your argument is strongly based on team performance then there is no way klay should make the all Star team ahead of Chris Paul. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:24pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
aliondo:I am not arguing for Green. 20.8 to 20.3 is huge for Klay and PG. Only that one is getting his far more efficiently than the other. Thank you for mentioning steals. I can trade it for Klay's total 3points made with more efficiency again or no? It is a miracle for anyone on the warriors to have high assist numbers with all that ball movement and Klay's numbers actually are higher than last year. If Rebounds is the deal...Drummond better shoot someone. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:26pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Vorkalth:CP3 played 23 games or so. He has been injured...Dude! |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:34pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Lol! Devin Booker, CP3, Lou, PG. Any of those two are a better pick for the all-star game than Klay and Draymond. Stop making these silly excuses or better yet just accept that you're biased. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:35pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Yh..we are also making a case for Drummond too...whether the difference is 0.1,P.G is better than Klay..Dont make case for huge points difference pls and why are you making it about teams saying OKC were not doing well until recently..Anthony Davis has been in the All star team since when i can remember..if not for his great individual stats, will he make all star??When was the last time the pelicans made the playoffs? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 3:38pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Please stop referring to last year or previous years and talking about teams and their style of play doesnt affect who is to be in the all star team...What we consider is two individuals playing and who has the better stats... |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:39pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
aliondo:Draymond ahead of PG because of team record. I guess AD, Boogie and westbrook shouldn't make the team. Maybe I should take my own advice. No point arguing with someone as biased as he is. I'm done. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by nairamaniac: 3:40pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
A40:Happy newyear. That Lavine guy is the perfect Jordan/Kobe hybrid clone. Love the way he creates his own shot, especially off the dribble. Currently, the only (the most) althletic-shooting guard in the league. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Decale: 3:43pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Vorkalth:This is the point I'm trying to get him to see It doesn't matter whether he's 3rd option. He's impressive with those numbers, but so is the entire Warriors roster. The main issue is that he shouldn't be there above people that are better than him just because he averages 20ppg as a third option and sits first in the league. That analogy is something light... Na Kerr choose am abi? I understand his sentiments. Before hin go need one potential tying 3 pointer and Thompson holding the ball will now do travel and airball because of that snub. Lolz |
| Re: The NBA Begins by nairamaniac: 3:53pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Vorkalth:Paul George is a first option on offence for OKC. |

Yeah. Seems I don't have my temper under control like I thought cause I'm fuming right now. I'm going back to anger management. Better yet try to find a way to never come back, this place just brings the worst out of me. Peace! |

| Re: The NBA Begins by nairamaniac: 5:07pm On Jan 24, 2018*. Modified: 5:22pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
What??Russell is doing More on every thing else for triple doubles. But I think for scoring, game had been going thru pg on the average, with both of them on the floor. All the same, I would pick klay over pg for my reserve allstar team. PG is definitely the better all round player. But klay is more efficient. He's not just a shooter. Has good Penetration too and tidy on defence. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:11pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Decale:I have maintained that Klay has been inconsistent this season but the same argument can be made for P.G. I am actually respecting your opinion because you are a neutral in this. If you feel he has been less impressive because he is being carried on a great warriors roster, that argument may bear some merit. But the one that would not fly even when placed on a soaring Boeing is the one for P.G. Their numbers are the same and yet one is less efficient. Then P.G should be competing with KD and Draymond (depending on what category he made the team on) but as for Klay with the role that he plays for GSW as 3rd wheeler, PG does not deserve it more than him - recency bias aside. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:15pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
aliondo:There is no statistical variance between 20.8 and 20.3 especially when efficiency and Klay effectively touching the ball less than PG comes into play. You want to make an argument for PG, then find something cogent to hold unto. Even his numbers renounce this all-star claim you are making for him against Klay which is even funny when we consider - when season began and for 10- 15 games into it - the consensus was that PG had regressed playing with Russell. Now all of a sudden, he is Lebron reincarnate. Nah, man. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 9:58pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
Eruditor:Please stop making this arguements about team and team mates...i gave you an example of Anthony Davis...who was Anthony Davis playing with before Boogie came. Talking about his team, when was the last time they made playoffs? No matter the grammar you use,20.8 will always be greater than 20.3. Its only efficiency and 3 point percentage you've been making a case for and yet a Lou Williams did not make the team? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:30pm On Jan 24, 2018 |
aliondo:Stats in question here is between their numbers not the teams. 20.8 statistically is not bigger than 20.3 if the latter needs fewer shots to get his. Anthony Davis is the best or amongst the best at what he does. We can justify his place compared to other Centres in the west but sadly cannot do so for P.G. And I like PG BTW. Lou is not more efficient than Klay in 3pts, if that is what you are alluding to. Lou is on 40% with far less 3s made than Klay who is on 45% and has made more. |
