depends on the sch..mostly banks but to get admission in Korea schools..you need pay sch fees with application fee before your admission letter will be delivered to you..thats why they hardly deny admission and student visa

I've got a budget of 2m and unfortunately this is only enough for a year and a couple of months for feeding and dorm. I'm planning on working part-time during the semester and/or full time during weekends and holidays. Considering the current hourly rate, this should patch things up yeah? Is this doable and within the law?

After 6 months of good academic standing.
They will permit you to work .
You can get a job and they will give you legal paperwork for that.

Yes, they require a Topik level3 certificate. Some departments will demand for level 4.

I was thinking of using the Language route but it seems it's no longer feasible doing that,so I will rather save up my money,learn Korean here and travel with student visa.
