Korea don change immigration laws and visa rules.

They stay in strategic positions like Train stations to check if foreigners dey legal or not, if you run, they chase you untill they catch you and deport.
They recruited able bodied, 7pack men for the job.

They do stop and search and ask for ID.

Majority of people with visas issued are being deported without even seeing the promise land. Especially, those with visas not student.
They send people back, and if the person refuse to go back, they put the person in airport detention untill you're ready to go back.

There is no working visa for us here. Before they have but it's been abolished. It does not exist.

And to convert visa now inside Korea dey IMPOSSIBLE, you cannot come with conference/business and change to student. No visa is convertible now again even if you marry, they will lure you to go home and that they will process your marriage visa.
All the people that left since, never get their own visa to return, so why even wasting your time?

For people that use to come in and seek assylum.
Now if you seek assylum, they process your matter sharp sharp and carry you go court, next thing na exit order.

For work, they don sabi say people dey come their place come work. They haff blocked everywhere, Most Korean men agents that give work before no dey give work again especially for people with certain visas .

And even if you get luck get job, immigration dey enter many companies now with able bodied 6pack men.
They disguise themselves like they work in the same company and blend in to catch people and if you run.
They go chase you tire until they catch you, they recruited men with 6packs.

Or they will raid the company canteen, and block all exits and doors during lunch/ dinner time and capture every one red handed. From there many dey go straight to naija.
People wey get luck they pay fine of $1000 if na first time and if you get mouth and get person or get correct sponsor or correct visa. For language visa, once they catch You, na bye bye.

Please, the days of come today, find job tomorrow don end.

Even to get Korean visa now na like passing thread for needle. E hard.

Hundreds of people are loosing their money for visa and majority to agents.
Imagine giving agent 300 to 600k, And he finally get you the visa, so far no be student visa, you only have %20 chance of coming inside Korea.

And if you're an E boy, now anya ndi eke is in Ulo aku, they go carry you go better questioning or even detain you for one small money like that.
And before as foreigners, you can withdraw any amount you want from bank, even $500k
But Now, once you open acct, your acct is limited and configured to only $300 withdrawal.

Take note:
For now, if you have 300k And above and wan come here strictly for hussle, please do not waste it,
Please use it and invest in Agriculture or something profitable.
The chances of making it is very low now. Except you're a good gambler.

Hello acadollar. I will be studying in a university in seoul this August at undergraduate level. Tuition is not an issue but feeding might be. I've got a budget of 2m and unfortunately this is only enough for a year and a couple of months for feeding and dorm. I'm planning on working part-time during the semester and/or full time during weekends and holidays. Considering the current hourly rate, this should patch things up yeah? Is this doable and within the law?

Type of work visas
The most commonly used employment visas include:

The Short Term Employment Visa (C-4)
The Corporate Resident/ Company Assignment (Intra-company Transfer) (D-7)

The work permit application is initially filed by the sponsoring employer in South Korea with the Ministry of Justice and the Entry Inspection Division of Immigration Office. The Ministry of Justice then confers with the representing agency, where appropriate, and determines whether the visa should be authorized.

Upon approval, the Ministry of Justice issues a Certificate of Confirmation of Visa Issuance (CCVI) that must be submitted by the applicant to a Korean Embassy or Consulate abroad.

Passport-style photograph(s)
Completed and signed visa application form
Original CCVI (see above)
Application fee
Please note that the South Korean authorities and/or consulates reserve the right to request additional information and/or documentation.

Time frame for a work visa application
The processing time for the CCVI application is approximately 1 to 4 weeks from the date of submission. Upon obtaining the CCVI, the transferee is required to submit a visa application at the South Korean Embassy/Consulate.

Go and read in details the meaning of those visas and requirement.
If you can meet the requirements, go to your embassy and apply for the said visas.

I know one or two visas there requires at least $90,000 to $250,000 which you will invest in Korea, like D...
The professional visas are for professionals, mostly people that studied professional courses in Korea and fluent in the language and are lucky enough to get a company willing to hire them. If you're caught working with any of this visa, it's a bye for you.

Pastors, engineers, IT tech, Actors etc
To qualify for this visa, you must not have any crime report, so if you are caught working as a student or involved in any sort of crime, it will be on your record.
They will see you as bad person, there is no small crime here. Is either they see you as bad person or see you as good person.

The E2 is for teachers, Nigerians are not allowed to get such visa.

As for the C short term employment, they now issue it to people from Asia that do come and go back after the short term. It will be issued in their home country .

I don't know you, I don't know how rich you are, so you may qualify for any of those based on your pockets.
Korea is now looking for professionals or rich people ready to invest.

my questions are.::
how long did it take u to learn the language?
2)was it self tutorials or u attended any private language class?
3)how did u get ur self certified?
did u write any language test? if yes, where and when.
