It was reported on Wednesday, January 24 that one 19-year-old girl identified as Chiburuoma Boms ‘was allegedly strangled to death and forced into a septic tank by persons said to be her relations in Elekahia, PHALGA, Rivers state.

It was gathered that men of the Elekahia Police Station arrested six persons who are helping the police with investigation while the deceased's corpse has been evacuated from the pit and taken to the mortuary for autopsy.

Now according to media personality, Babaduks Ons, the girl's father allegedly dragged and carried her from his house and threw her into the septic tank where she died. According to the report, her father said she brought shame and reproach to him and the family with her "wild lifestyle" and he could not take it anymore.

The father reportedly handed himself over to the police after the alleged act.

I know of a guy who has "bad parenting" parents, but this young gentleman is the most humble and God fearing individual I've ever met.

To my opinion I don't think d father is a wicked man, he has tried his best, he has spent so much in her illness that has left the house hold bankrupts yet she refuses to die. That girl might have contacted aids

She probably contracted HIV which led to AIDS, her father should have just taken her to a Govt. hospital.

The best thing he could have done for her,was take her for counseling and also try to up his game as a good father,now that he killed her,what has he gained? I guess his bad parenting skills led her down the lifestyle she chose, and instead of playing his role as a father,he only thought it wise to just end her life...see how wicked some humans can be,even to their own blood. Smh...

girl-children of nowadays are now something else, no amount of home training can stop them from becoming whoress once they start growing those large pimples call bwests. Nor be same thing my 17 year old sister still dey do sef Their matter tire me, I don't wish to have a female as a child.
