Dry Fine Milk available as Pig feed.

Milk is excellent for Weaners, Growers and Lactating Sows.

Milk offers better feed conversion compared with Maize and Soya rations

BENEFITS

faster growth rate than corn and soya rations. Milk is completely digestible and within 30 days a 30 kg grower consuming milk feed will attain 60 kg.

simplifies feed regimen for pigs. You don’t need to compound any complex formulations as milk is a complete meal already.

You can feed 50% milk and 50% fermented cassava peels and have excellent results.

Boosts Boar(Male) semen quality thereby increasing Sow(female) litter.

improves Sow ovulation.

reduces meat fat.

excellent as lactation and creep feed.

appetite booster with sweet taste.

develops and corrects musculoskeletal deficiencies in pigs.

no need for premix.

no need for Lysine.

contains antioxidants.

– Milk fed pork is rich, sweet, and tender.

How to Use

for Weaners 50-80% inclusion ratio is recommended.

for Growers between 30-60 kg I recommend 30-50 % inclusion.

for Finishers 70kg+…… it’s useful as an appetite booster enabling them consume and digest more quantities of fibre such as Shangi, Brewery waste, Sesame, Cassava peels or PKC…so u can use at 10-20% inclusion ratio

National Secretariat,
Nigerian Association of Piggery Farmers,
Abuja.
12/01/2018
Dear Mr. President,
DEMAND FOR PIGGERY COLONIES
The National Association of Piggery Farmers deplore the marginalization of the association by the Federal Government. Our pigs have been variously targeted for elimination in several Northern states. Those Sharia compliant states have refused to allow our legitimate business to thrive. Our members have been hounded and harassed by the Hisbah Police and others. We deplore this.
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture has paid deaf ears to out plight. Our members demand that the marginalization must stop in order to forestall the breakdown of Law & Order.
From the foregoing, NAPF thus demand the following:
1. Equal opportunities for all farmers and herders throughout the federation
2. We demand for a 20 hectare Piggery Colony in the 19 Northern States especially Katsina, Kano, Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe, Bauchi, Niger, Borno and Gombe
3. We demand the National Assembly to pass a law on Piggery Colonies in all Northern states
4. We demand that a section of the Nigerian Army be employed in the protection of pigs and pig farmers
5. We demand the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to set aside a budget for the importation of Pig Feed from Argentina
6. We demand a special department of Piggery in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
Dear Mr. President, we are a law abiding association. We prevent our members from being provoked by the government-backed Hisbah/Islamic horde that aim to destroy our pig farmers. We shall not be involved in attacking and killing the anti-piggery people in the Sharia States. If these things are not done, we can no longer guarantee that our members would not deliberately target our transducers!

There is always speculation during festive period of low demand for pork and increase in consumption of poultry products. But hopeful it will pick up again. Other pig farmers contributions are also welcome.

Hello pig farmers
We are wonderring if anyone has experience farming pigs without building individual pens for them. We are embarking on the second phase of farm and intend to just fence, build a couple of sheds, feeding areas, wallows, drinkers etc. We just let the pigs roam within the confinement. Interested in hearing from anyone that has gone down this path this is willing to share his or her experience. It seems to us that it will be very cost effective for fattening pigs.

We have 2 boars for sale. They are direct offspring offspring of imported animals from the UK. Both animals have records and were bought from a reputable breeder in Sept of 2015. Though we have not weighed them, we are confident that each wiil weigh we)l over 200 kg as we sold one ar about 270 kg in december.

If you have large breeding females, any of these 2 boars will be ideal for you. We are intending to sell bec
ause we a number of these big boys on the farm.
One is a pure large white and other is landrace.

I have implemented such system on my farm which has helped save housing, labour and feed costs.

That is great. I have seen a few videos as well. We don't have enough land for animals to get good nutrition from nature. We plan to continue to feed them in enclosure while they also forage. The savings for us will come from not having to clean on a daily basis (reduction in staff need). We hope to fence about an acre within the next few months and try this method out.
Thanks for sharing.
