Only 500 Hundred Thousand Students have Accepted Admission -Jamb

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that out of the 1.6 million candidates that the board recommended for admission in the 2017/2018 Academic session, only about 500,000 candidates have accepted their admission.

This happens to be far beyond the number recorded in previous years. According to the JAMB Head of media, Dr Fabian, the reason for this is due to the flexibility in cut-off marks as well as the introduction of the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

JAMB Recommends 1.6 Million Candidates For 2017 Admission
The admission process ended January 25th, 2018. However, candidates can still accept

their admission on the JAMB portal. This means that the remaing 1.1 candidates who are yet to accept their admission can still do so.
He expressed optimism that schools will comply with the deadline as most of the school have already completed their admission process while those that are yet to fully complete theirs are at 95% completion

How will they accept? When you give someone with a score as high as 290 plus and great waec result microbiology instead of desired medicine and surgery. Then give someone who scored below 250 medicine in same school.

Most university dont accept that rubbish

This is a lie, jamb need to be scrapped, they are toying with future of million youth, the entire system is messed up, many that scored over 200 couldn't basin admission... Iot of flaws in 2017 and why the stress in the registration? Creating profile etc... Just milking the poor aspirants

The only known university that don't accept is unilag and lasu cuz they have their own program, which is jupeb. u can also write the exam while doing ur ijmb. its widely accepted and not rubbish like u called it bro

The Nigerian system of education was not well planned, govt should make a provision for graduate either empower them or train them,
