God don't EXIST and will never exist, Religion is just like a virus that has ran rampant out of control over the course of human existence, what I have come to realize is a full grown adult is a full grown baby with the illusion of freedom because he is allowed to make choices and in reality, these choices are predetermined to rule and manipulate you because they are often opposite to each other. For instance : God and Satan, Heaven and Hell, Rich or Poor, Life or death etc A grown human would always pick the former and forgo the later because the society perceive the former to be good BUT, Human are too lazy to think what really is the goodness in the former if the later exist and people go through them. My conclusion- Religion/God is like one if those former which has been handed down since long time ago, people attach meaning and importance to it for the fear of not facing the later which is dire consequence for not believing in God or having a religion but they fail to realize all the God/Religion thing are all fake and scare tactics to manipulate/control human mind to get human to be submissive because it is only when they are submissive that they can be ruled. The day any human being rid himself of religion and culture and really step out of those matrix, From then on, you would begin to see for what it's worth. Like you have been a computer programmed to live a life with no real choice in the real world. |

Good you at least believe there is God, unlike some others, but then how do we develop our own individual idea of God if we don't go to Church or read the bible cos pastors preach the bible. HeyCorleone: |

Omooba77:Out of all the religions in the world, why do you think it's the Christians that got it right? What if everything was made up?. My point is what you know is what you've been taught. Open your mind if you dare, to other religions of the world, then you will come to a realisation that God is more than what you think you know. |

Bennycollins:Why do you think we have the Bible? Why do you think Luther revolted against the Church? It was because they didn't make Bible available for the common folk so it was hard for them to have a first hand knowledge of God's word. Now the Bible is available for everyone but it's unfortunate people would still rather follow what their pastors say. It is sad. |

There is God. God is in our essence. People have been longing to see him even though God is omnipresent. Humans, in order to sarisfy the quest to meet God, invented religion but turned it into one big cesspool of scam used to defraud and control gullible cum feeble-minded followers. \ |

In essence it's needless to attend church, since we can just buy a bible and start studying in our homes. But what of those who cannot read, HeyCorleone: |

Bennycollins:No I can't. No at the moment at least. I believe as time progresses we'll have a clearer understanding of how the world began. The answer of "God created it" really has no scientific basis. I could as well ask "who created God?" |

The concept of God/gods was the earliest means by which humans tried to explain natural phenomenon and certain mysterious occurrences around them. Although, so many people still subscribe to this ancient method there is infact a better and more authentic method. This alternative method is called rationality/science, and is relatively new. The new method was discovered in ancient Greece. That explains why the Greeko-Roman world was the most advanced of all ancient civilizations. |

Omooba77:What you've defined is the God of religion, which I don't want to go as far as saying its fake in order not to offend you, but its certainly a dumb definition of God. For example; are you saying the good muslems don't know God? The good Jews don't know God? The Good Buddhists don't know God? Others who don't follow any religion don't know God? What a definition!!. God is an energy line, in fact, he's the energy we talk about. The one that powers the universe. After him there's no more reality. Watch this physicist boy genius define God. This's the ultimate definition of God. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06WqN5gULqs |

From a traditionalist perspective, ifa monotheistic. We believe in a single creative force known as Olodumare. The Universe in it’s entirety springs from that single source. Unlike the Orisa, Olodumare is not an energy but rather a consciousness. A consciousness big enough to encompass the entire of creation. Everything we know is part of Olodumare, as is everything we are yet to discover. |

dnexteinstein:both the Greeks and Romans have their pantheon of gods where Zeus and Jupiter rule supreme. Maybe the right word shouldn't be God. Maybe we should address it as NATURE. Whatever is responsible for the great and infinite intelligence in nature is AWESOME |

The creationists/religionists claim that the only cause for existence is intelligent design, and they term this intelligent designer "God". I acknowledge that this assertion is true in relation to human creative experiences. i.e, everything that humans ever created was by intelligent design. But no human witnessed the creation of the universe by God. On the other hand, every natural "technology"(Living/non-living things) we can observe came into existence through processes that are highly probabilistic. A good example is the process of natural reproduction: out of over a million sperm cells only one is able to fertilize the female egg. Thus, every human ever born is the product of mere chance/probability, in contrast to deliberate intelligent design. Another example of chance/natural process in action is the fact that humans living in different geographical locations had different experiences and thus developed a distinct belief system from one another. Conversly, in modern times people from different parts of the world have a lot of beliefs in common due to deliberate effort that is being made at globalization. That is the reason why a black man in Nigeria would rather believe in the biblical creation story but not the Yoruba Oduduan version. Afterall, the owners of the bible (the west) are the eminent global powers. It can therefore be deduced from these arguments that "deliberate intelligent design", whether physical or abstract is ingenious to humanity, not any God/gods. Therefore, anyone who is truely intelligent and also posses what I call "intellectual courage", would be able to figure out from this post, who created God, that is if they don't know the answer already. |

1 John 4:7-8 NKJV Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. |
