Not everyone has to be a pilot, one of the aviation professionals I respect the most is ATC(Air Traffic Control) those guys&girls are on a different level, without them, there'll be incidents every second!
They literally tell Pilots what to do
During my training, there were some airports student pilots dreaded flying solo to cos of how harsh ATC at those airports can be and there were airports we loved going to cos ATC is always nice
What about aircraft maintenance engineers (A&P)

I've carefully checked out this thread and it's the most active I've found so far.. .
I love aviation and precisely I've always wanted to be an Aircraft maintenance engineer. Its been my dream since secondary school. I tried applying for it after school around 2013 but they closed the application few weeks after my waec result was out ( at NCAT zaria). So I applied the following year, for reasons I still don't know we wrote the entrance exams around may 2016 the admission was out around June-july 2017 ( can't actually remember) and I'll be resuming on 15th January 2018...
It's been my passion, but I haven't met any AME anywhere who I can talk to, ask questions cause I have loads of them and few other informations I'll like to gather. . If there's any in the house please I'll really love to be in contact... .. .
And please to all aviators in the room. Any advice for me before I begin my journey in few days. Would be most appreciated.. .
Cheers

If you watch the movie 2:22, you'll understand where Olisa4all is coming from. However, every personnel involved in the aviation sector is important.

Interesting question.
First you need to meet a pilot, start a relationship, get engaged then marry.

A pilot on an airplane said; Ladies and Gentlemen, the plane is losing altitude. All the baggage must be thrown out. A while later, the pilot said; We are still losing altitude. We must throw out everything that is in the cabin. The plane continued to descend despite more things being thrown out. The pilot said; We are still going down, we must throw out some people. There was a big gasp from the passengers. The pilot continued; But to make this fair, passengers will be thrown out in alphabetical order, So A... any Africans on board?. Nobody moved. The pilot said; B... any Blacks on board?. Nobody moved. The pilot said; C... any coloureds on board?. Still, nobody moved. The pilot said; D... any Darkies?. A Nigerian little black boy asked his dad; Daddy, what are we?. The Dad said; My son, tonight, we are Zulus

Airline Sacks Pilots for Fighting in the Cockpit During a Flight

January 14, 2018

Indian airline, Jet Airways on Tuesday, fired two of its pilots who got into a fight in the cockpit during a flight from London to Mumbai on 1 January, 2018.

According to reports, the male captain slapped the female co-pilot following a heated argument in the cockpit, which occurred shortly after takeoff.

Following the slap, the female co-pilot reportedly left the cockpit crying and refused to return after the cabin crew begged her to, leaving only the captain in the cockpit.

At some point during the 9 hour flight, there was no pilot in the cockpit as the co-pilot himself left the cockpit to persuade the captain to return to the cockpit, putting passengers’ lives at great risk.

Following the incident, Jet Airways had initially grounded the two pilots but decided to terminate their services after further investigating the incident.

The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft which was carrying 324 passengers and 14 crew members landed safely in Mumbai.

The male captain and the female co-pilot were reportedly in a romantic relation

It appears the video has been removed. Let me highlight the points made in the video
1. Many airplanes are on lease to airlines, so the original owner paints it white, the "borrower" can then inscribe her logo or design on some parts of the airplane, reducing the cost of painting.
2. White colors generally reflect heat unlike black colors (physics). So it kinds of help with temperature control, thus having effect on expansion and contraction on the long run.
3. The white colors is great at detecting cracks and rusts, thus enhancing a better maintenance of the airplane..
4. White color has less weight, thus having a little significant on the overall weight of the aircraft.
Now, this is the only point I do not fully comprehend in the video..... How can the paint in an aircraft be so heavy that it will have a significance on her flight?

Excellent analysis painted mentally. But still, are there no light paints like the ones used on vehicles that won't weigh much? If no, I just might go into that business grin

On Christmas Eve, 1999, Indian Airlines Flight 814 was a scheduled passenger flight from Kathmandu to Delhi. There were 176 passengers and 15 crew members onboard the Airbus A300B2-101. The flight takes off from Kathmandu around after 5pm. But less then 30 minutes after takeoff, the flight was hijacked by 5 men from the Taliban group. The chief flight attendants claims that the lead hijacker has a bomb and threaten to blow it up. The lead hijacker wanted the pilots to divert the Airbus to Lahore. But there wasn't enough fuel and the captain told the hijacker they had to land at Amritsar. As the aircraft lands in Amristar, the captain requested refueling for the aircraft. However, the Crisis Management Group in Delhi directed Amritsar Airport authorities to ensure that the aircraft was immobilized. The Punjab police were already in position but they didn't receive approval from New Delhi. A fuel tank truck was dispatched and ordered to block the aircraft. As the tanker heads for the plane, ATC radioed the pilots to slow down and the tanker came to a stop. This aroused the hijackers' suspicions and they forced the aircraft to take immediately, without any take off clearance. The A300 missed the truck by only a few feet. Because of the aircraft was extremely low on fuel, the pilots requested an emergency landing at Lahore in Pakistan. But Pakistan denied the request and also shut down their air traffic services, blackening the whole of Pakistan airspace for the hijacked plane an switched off all lights of Lahore Airport. The captain descends on what he though was a runway but it was a well-lit road and aborted the landing just in time. On understanding that the only option for the airplane was to crash land, Lahore airport switched on its lights and the aircraft lands in Lahore Airport. The airplane was refueled and took off from Lahore Airport at 10:32pm. The hijacked flight then lands in Al Minhad Air Base in Dubai where 27 passengers were released. The hijackers also released 25-year-old Rupan Katyal, who was stabbed to death by one of the hijackers. The plane then lands in Kandahar. Taliban authorities agreed to co-operate with Indian authorities and too the role of mediators between the hijackers and the Indian Government. But the intention of the Taliban was under doubt after its armed fighters surrounded the plane. The hijacking ended on New Years Eve, 1999 and the hostages onboard Flight 814 were released. Some were flown to Delhi on a special plane while the others were flown back to Kathmandu. The 5 hijackers departed from Afghanistan with a Taliban hostage to ensure their safe passage. A mass funeral was held by thousands of people for Rupan Katyal and he was a buried in a cemetery in Delhi, India.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get the source for this article, but I got it from an Aviation group
