Troops of 72 Special Forces Battalion and 177 Guards Battalion in the early hours, Wednesday 31 January, 2018, while on joint clearance operation along Benue and Nassarawa State border, were alerted on the presence of unidentified armed militia. It was confirmed that the criminals were, setting houses on fire in Igacha village, about 4 kilometres away from Kadarko town.

Troops responded immediately by mobilizing to the area to stop the arson and apprehending the perpetrators. The militia on sighting troops, abandoned their mission, scampering for safety in different directions. However, the troops neutralized one of the assailants, while others escaped with gun shot wounds.

A cordon and search operation is still in progress in the general area with the view of tracking the fleeing armed criminals.

Consequently, inhabitants of the general area are please requested to be in the look out for such wounded persons and report to the security agencies.

Kadarko was attacked by herdmen and nothing was done but as soon as the native mobilize for reprisals the Army is there to kill them

The same Army never show up whenever the natives are besieged by Fulani herdsmen.

Now that the natives are beginning to protect themselves, the ethno-religious army arrives from nowhere and open fire on them.

Something doesn't add up here.


It can only go on for a short period of time.

The north centrals have been able to decipher who their real enemies are.

Before the storyline have always been painted that the Igbos are the real problem of Nigeria. A country/Individual that doesn't learn from the past is doomed for failure, as much as Ojukwu is maligned, the ideals he fought for remains unfulfilled till today.


I can say unequivocally without fear or prejudice, the north is the biggest problem of this country, substract the north and see how the rest of naija would develop.

It is a bitter truth

I take any story of 'police killing a witness and others fleeing with gunshot wounds' with a pinch of salt.
Too many cover ups for atrocities committed by Nigerian security forces exist for one to always treat stories as this with a cup full of salt.

both the farmers and the herdsmen voted for Buhari and were rejoicing when the army were killing unarmed IPOB members. our enemies have turned against each other, they're now filled with their own flesh and getting drunk from their own blood.
