If we want to contest the league or any major trophy the coach just has to find a way to motivate his band. That's why he is the coach. If he can't then I don't know what he is doing on that seat. Because I don't know for how long these excuses will be entertained.

Yesterday's performance was reminiscent of the Van Gaal era. Players scared to keep possession and when lost scared to get it. It was like Barcelona against one Segunda B team. It's as if they've never played tottenham before or they didn't watch videos before the game. They will have the ball and be passing it around with tottenham players chasing them like dogs and when everywhere becomes tight they lob it to Lukaku who is a proven failure this season when it comes to retrieving the ball in such situations.
