aliondo:Chris Paul is a doubt and Eric Gordon and Kawhi are definitely not playing. Hard to make any judgements based on tonight |

If you are a Celtics fan would you want a Greg Monroe? I think the Pelicans need him more. "The Pelicans" I can't get over how swaggerless that name is |

Griffin and Drummond were both good in their first game. How far can both players take the Pistons by the end of the regular season? I would say anything short of the postseason would be considered a disappointment. I see them rising to the 6th or 7th position on the eastern conference log. As for Tom Gores (Owner), you are hoping the investment on Griffin leads to more fans filling the Arena and away fans investing in traveling to Detroit to watch 2 stars play, especially considering the home court (Little Cesears Arena) is brand new. |

Roland17:Quick random question, bro. Any idea where Giannis' parents hail from in Naija? I've always thought the name 'Antetokoumpo' sounded un-Nigerian. But what if it's only a Greek variant of a Nigerian name. I'm thinking it's Adetokunbo, a Yoruba name. An-te-to-koun-mpo = A-de-to-kun-bo. Both are 5 syllables long. What do you think? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 11:08am On Feb 02, 2018 |
pkasso:You sure say no be Benin?? ...you have a point tho..most likely of yoruba descent or edo state.. |

The hex on that Bucks franchise is quite strong! As Jabari returns Brogdon goes out seriously injured. Gary Harris man! That boy is a future all-star. |

pkasso:As far as i have researched in the past. Gianis was born in Greece, however, his parents were both immigrants from Lagos, Nigeria. Their original last name was "Adetokunbo, but after the family gained Greek citizenship they had to re-adapt using Greek syllabus. I remember the news of his dad's passing last year. I am convinced his parents are from the south west (I am thinking Lagos or Ogun State) especially if you take a close look at the pictures attached.

Roland17:Thanks very much, boss. I knew it! His story is a touching and inspiring one. He's never been to Nigeria before and he definitely feels Greek but you know Naija, we go wan claim am as 'one of us' . |

aliondo:My man! . Those Bini names fit make person bit im tongue.Missed last night's game but that Harris game-winning buzzer beater would have made it painful. Dre's injury is one big blow. He's our best defender and probably the most important player on the team, after Russ. Speaking of Russ, i heard he shoved a fan yesterday. The NBA is looking into the issue, hopefully it's nothing more than a fine. |

pkasso:Their names na die.. ![]() Mehn..long time bro..how your side??you just leave me for here.. ![]() So on point!!.Dre's absence will be a big blow...That Harris na heart breaker sha though we started the game poorly due to bad defense but one positive remains our improved 4th quarters and impressive dodgedness to fight back and win a game. Hopefully Russ just gets a fine.... |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:24am On Feb 03, 2018 |
Worst passing game of the season. Nobody is spared. We play this same rubbish against Denver we get blown out. So many players trying to outrubbish themselves. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:56am On Feb 03, 2018 |
25 T/Os 15pts win. Shamefully bad game the score line excessively flatters. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 7:36am On Feb 03, 2018 |
Mehn...we need an interim defensive S.G for the main time..Dre's gone and we've lost three times in a row... ![]() |

Back to back victories with Rozier starting as PG. I am very impressed with his game especially his assist numbers, spacing and finding ways to get Tatum involved. More importantly, Kyrie can get very good rest before the all-star games and not burn out before or during the postseason. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:13pm On Feb 03, 2018 |
Roland17:Yeah man i agree. Kyrie needs all his energy for the playoffs. Getting swept is not an easy thing to handle. |

Good to see Jabari can still ball. One year out is no joke. I'm very intrigued by the Bucks in the East and Nuggets in the West. Both have a young core that could be the next big team if they develop properly and stay healthy. Tobias Harris looks pretty smooth. The way he adjusts to his new teams with minimal fuss is remarkable |

| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 3:18am On Feb 04, 2018 |
Can the Cavs quit the match right now. I know it's just 5mins into the 2nd Quarter but it's that bad. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:25am On Feb 04, 2018 |
I don't think people understand how bad this Cavs team is. People say they don't play defense but that's just a part of it. They can't get the easiest of rebounds.Their offense is stagnant and their "sharpshooters" can't make shots. If Cleveland really wants to achieve anything at least 4 players and that pick needs to go. IT, JR, TT and Shumpert are all useless on this team now. |
