Rojo is in my line up because he is a natural LCB compared to the others. I'd even prefer Blind to the others as LCB, we need naturals on all positions.
Mata on the RW effects our play better even if he is not excellent. With Lingard, apart from the goals he scores, he doesn't do enough in terms of our build up play.

bro Lingard, apart from goals do a lot. his past seems to be confusing us. he offers far more than goals than Mata.

Valencia was our best player in that game.
I have nothing against Lingard, I like the fact that he's been in amongst the goal but for him to remain in the team, he has to contribute more to our play.

watch that spurs game again. most of our forays front were initiated by him. he can pop up with unexpected long range and fantastic goals. Mata is very predictable and slow.

correct talk. Even in the previous match he was tracking back, tackling the way he could. So I don't know where the story of him been only good at goals is coming from

Any way people might have different opinions though.
but from what I see recently. Lingard is doing a nice job in his role. last game pogba and Matic had brain farts in midfield. the only reasonable runs forward with purpose in that match was done by him. I am not his fan all along, but the guy has actually stepped up a bar.

Sanchez clearly favors the left and it's possible for Mourinho to keep playing him there. We have Lingard and Mata as players who have 'excelled' in the right wing and Lingard is above Mata at the moment IMO.

It will be best if Mou leaves Lingard on the right and put Alexis behind the striker. Let's not have a repeat of the Tottenham game.

If he makes Sanchez his first choice for that left wing we will lose Martial in the summer.

mou needs to keep playing pogba as a cm, he needs to get used to it and develop as a midfield controller (he should learn from kross and become better) pogba has the qualities just needs the disciple.

I believe capitalcee is right.. watch the game again, Sanchez and Lingard were the only players trying to chase the ball, I believe Lingard's past is still fresh in your memory, Lingard offers a lot more in our build up play.. watch him closely

Though it's a good Suggestion, but do you really think Sanchez can play well as RWF?! I think JM should play Mata as RMF, Sanchez as AM, and Martial as LMF.

I believe Pogba and Sanchez can cause Menace to the Opposition, if they combine well together. They have the Skills and Strength to play and excel together.

Sanchez will be better at that RW than anybody we have in the team now.

You will be leaving the midfield battle for only Matic, there will be only one outcome if that happens

Who said he should start? Or you did not see him as a list of options on the right in a classic 442?

And where were you when young was actually one of our most productive players late last year before he went and got himself a senseless ban? Young is the only natural right winger we have left at the club and he is a better crosser than most of our attacking players! My point is not even about young but sanchez as a forward or false 9

Discipline you mean, and that's true. But that dude has a lot to offer. It just would be a waste of his talent to shoehorn him in the middle of the park.

If Matic isn't slow and aging he would be ablr to provide enough cover for the defense while others attack. Sadly he isn't. The other solution is to have others fill the space Pogba leaves whenever he goes into the box.

Sanchez will do well behind the striker. He can press for the ball and knows how to make penetrating passes. I just hope Mou sees things this way. Moreover we've only seen him play once with the first XI so it's a bit early to fix him into a certain position.

true bro, pogba is lackadaisical, slow and lacks the urgency to play against big teams especially teams that are fast and like to press. He take extra touches with the ball and as long as he does this he will be found wanting in the big games.

pogba needs to learn that he can be kross or busquets, in united midfield and not the box-box CM he was in juventus.

mou used fab with matic then in chelsea, except mou changes formation that gives pogba space to run and provides another box-box CM to cover for him like vidal. or use herrera and play 352 with lukaku cf and sanchez ss.

pogba being lazy atimes doesn't mean he runs slow. pogba is a brillant player that seems confused atimes on the pitch, is it either limited options or unclear instructions.

like a mental block < the way he should play vs the way he wants to play > not knowing or doing what is needed.
a jack of all trade, he can play anywhere in midfield LM, RM, CM, AM, DM name it. when you give a specific role that requires discipline well a carefree superstar child like him will look lackadaisical in games.

martial lwf, lukaku cf, sanchez rwf/front free role; then pogba (free role in midfield, and launch counter attacks an iniesta kind of ish) beside two more disciplined midfielders herrera and matic.
