I enter this fantasy store today.. Pple that ordered fr global d seller sent dem china rom and explain d problem they might have encountered if he flashed unofficial rom.. Now dats a good seller.
The only tin wey go save dat dreami store na if as i receive d fone d bootloader de unlocked.

The other redmi 5 plus guy lamenting about rom flashing, I posted a file to reboot a device into edl mode from fastboot sometime in the past.

Search NL, you should be able to locate it

Another catch b say many fake roms, u go fit flash the official rom from the updater app without issues, ask Dreami if e dey possible like dat with dis fake rom, otherwise, hmm.

If it's the edl file by the Russian guy, it's for note 3 SD only. It doesn't work on note 4 and newer models

KEEP TELLING ME CAN'T LOAD IMAGE, I av tried all the available recovery image for Redmi note 4x, rename all to recovery.img and twrp.img, none is working .... ANYONE IN LAGOS and it's environ that can help me flash the recovery will be appreciated...

I can't exactly say what is wrong in your own case but I will advice you take some steps back in the whole process and gently troubleshoot.
Read up online and check others that have similar issues.

Pointers for troubleshooting;

1. Check if the adb is properly installed and it is the latest check this linkhttp://www14.zippyshare.com/v/ufYG71o0/file.html
2. Cross check and ensure the recovery is from official source, check here for TWRP for mido https://dl.twrp.me/mido/, then do the renaming and move the renamed file to the folder of our now freshly installed Adb/fastboot folder (usually located in local disk).
3. Now use the command 'fastboot boot recovery.img' this will only boot into TWRP just for that session.
But if you wish to install permanently, use 'fasboot flash recovery recovery.img'

Note; Make sure 'allow modifications to system' is left unchecked upon booting into TWRP.
And get the lazy flasher.zip file which is to be flashed after the whole business in TWRP before rebooting phone.

Like mine.. It was after d seller despatched mine 2 days later he was telling me its unstable.. They wont even let you know at first.

He sent me a video on how to avoid OTA so i wont encounter problem..
I guess d brickland

You don already consent and you don show am say you get idea of flashing. So any dispute here will favour the seller.

Next time , tell am say you no Sabi anything.

Go to Developer Options and enable USB debugging Mode

Turn off your device

Go to fastboot Mode by holding VOL DOWN and Power key

Connect your device to PC using USB cable

Open Tool and Hit ENTER

Device will go into edl mode.
