Where can I find the full meaning of the abbreviations used in this forum? Since my CRS score is breathing on 461, need to familiarize myself with it now.

My fellow nairalanders,
I am trying to access my credentials with WES
I have Bsc. Public Admin and Master in Public Admin (MPA)
Which would give me the maximum point.
Accessing only my highest degree (MPA)
Or accessing Bsc. and masters.

Do you bank with Access Bank? What is it with you and access, abi you're writing it as you're pronouncing it? Yoruba brethren? grin

Someone with MPA should know it's "assess". To answer you, read page 0 very well. Click the links on there to understand what you're doing. Assess only your MPA. That is your highest degree.

With the information you provided, assuming your wife didn't get her vocational training in an educational institute (i.e. no trade certificate), you both don't have any relative in Canada and you get 8777 IN LRSW, your crs score appears to be 385. Thats very low and I'd advise you go the PNP route

I was about asking a similar question. I've had my ECA on hold because of the strike in Uniport. They are yet to respond to the verification from WES. I was going to ask about the cancellation of my BSc, if it will affect my points?

My other school have sent theirs and it's accepted.
I guess this answers my question. Thank you

Please I have a question regarding PCC from Alagbon.

For those not in Nigeria, I understand they can fill the Finger print form, scan and send it down to a friend who can help them process it at the station with Inspector Moshood grin. In filling the form, i.e. taking their finger prints, must they do it at a police station in their country of residence? or can they just do this at home?

thanks.

Congrats...So happy for you. I can totally relate. The wait is killing. 10 weeks and still counting. I just hope and pray to get a favorable response from them soon.

Oopsy:
I got encouraged here, so I'm also back to encourage another yet again... On IELTS

1st attempt: LRSW - 7.5,8,8,7
2nd attempt: LRSW - 8.5,8,7,6.5

Requested EOR on Speaking and Writing and after 10 weeks, my results came:

LRSW - 8.5,8,8.5,8. CRS did triple long jump from 374 to 424!

Well, when i received the EOR, I started crying (LOL). I really can't say what happens at BC or why it happens, but if you know that you know that you know you did better than what you got (in speaking and writing o), request for a remark. It may take time (10 weeks no be here sha), but at the end, it is worth it.

Submitted EOR on 17th Nov and got the result in 27th Jan.
Yours should be in anytime from now....

Congratulations, please when did you submit an EOR? I am asking because I submitted an EOR since November and I have not heard from BC.

Thanks Tomiccell!

I submitted November 17th. I guess your own will be returned anytime from now.

Tomiccell:
Wow!! Congrats on the improved scores.
Please, when did you submit your EOR? Today makes mine exactly 10 weeks, so I've been anxious.

I will gladly suggest to BC that when IELTS is remarked and there is a change, the initial examiners should be questioned. That way, they will behave themselves and stop being wicked!

@Faaz09, these 10 weeks taught me patience walahi. Be hopeful, it will end in praise.

You can fill the form and include the fingerprints from the comfort of your home, you don't need to visit the police station.

For all those chasing the Canadian dream whatever stage you're on especially those past PPR, check out the link below:

It wont work out like that for everyone but he makes so many valid points especially the one regarding customizing the resume. It's a good read worth your time
