So I ordered a Redmi 5plus 3gb+32gb (spent about 70k) for a lady from Dreami store and it arrived in 14days only for her to say the phone was too hefty. I offered her 30k and my Mi5.

Would you call that a fair deal?

Save yourself the stress. Sell the redmi 5 plus and return her money back to her.

Considering Redmi 4x... Performance and screen (should not be up to 5.5 inches) . Am not freeked about camera. Still Xiaomi phone
Then Redmi 4 prime is not bad, the only compromise is that lack of support so far, don't think there will be a midrange as compact and battery efficient as this anymore, welcome to the world of huge screens, fibonacci2526 wetin u think?

That will be taken care of by processors. Samsung and Qualcomm are already doing a good job, we will soon get 3500mah phones with processors that will outperform the likes of Redmi note 4 /4x in terms of battery endurance.

Like you said we all have our preferences and all that but if it were me I wouldn't go from a flagship SoC to midranger SoC as a daily driver if I have the money. There is always a compromise to be made in all devices be it performance, battery life, design etc. SD660 isn't bad too.

U never reply that guy wey wan give u Infinix note 2 for that thread. LOL

I don't mind using Chinese ROM. According to Gptech, Chinese ROM has better backup and support.

Make I just dey sample the price if e go go down...

As soon as the price drops, my Black Redmi 4x (3gb RAM 32GB ROM) will be up for sales grin

Thank boss.

Hi bro. Was the item tracked when you got to the post office? If no, kindly visit the IT department to know where exactly the item was shipped to, if not their own post office station.

Tbh a 5.7" on a 18:9 display will feel like a 5.2" on a 16:9. Compact enough.

Forgot to add that I've had my Mi5 for a year.

Battery life is crappy.

I'm a heavy user. Had to get a 10kmah powerbank to support my ministry.
lol, but with that a replacement battery shouldn't be that expensive. Concerning battery, with the battery capacity and the chipset one shouldn't expect much from the battery.

If money is not an issue, you should be aiming to upgrade not downgrade. SD625 is a downgrade from SD820.
I'll take the downgrade o, for better battery self. Sd821 wey i dey use no just get the battery if 625,while 625 no get performance of 820/821. I'm even thinking of getting a SD625 phone self
