Helo landers, pls is NIIT Nigeria good at Java? Can I learn such there? Is there other good ICT institutes one can learn such from? Pls I need a good reply, I don't want to make a mistake.

learn it by yourself by reading ebooks and videos on it. it could take long enough to have full knowledge of java, it could take you like 2 years to have complete knowledge of it. you could also learn it online like www.codecamy.com in fact, with codecamy you could code even on your android phone. NIIT may not and will not teach you all but you can learn it even to advanced level with all the materials availabe by yourself. best of luck

learn on your own get a mentor and then use available materials you find online, it would help you a long way. I know four languages but am a professional in two it took me years but am happy I spent such years learning and would continue to learn and grow programmatically thanks to my mentor who is also a friend as well

I have already enrolled at Udemy, I thought that I can't learn much online.

...go learn C then C++ before attempting Java or else you will run into a 'wall'

Video are good but books gives depth and details especially ones with graded exercises
