I have my student visa interview on the 16th of march ..which is next month and lectures starts by 09 April,2018.
Please I want to know if its possible for me to email the school telling them about how hard it is to book an appointment with the embassy becus of high demand in student application to german school so that they can back track my resumption date or give me a supporting letter so as to tell the consulate....and besides the school enrollment starts on the 9th and 28th of march......
Please I need advice as to wat to do because I learnt the applicant must have up to six weeks left before the lecture begins so as to enable the consulate do every necessary process .............
Please gurus I need advice as to go about it.....
Thanks.

I have similar situation with you and my interview date is 15 March. My skool enrollment date is 1st to 9th March while lectures starts by 20th March. I wrote my skool telling them how difficult it is to get an appointment and they gave me a letter informing the embassy that they can allow me to enroll late and pleaded with them to facilitate my visa process. I know everything will works perfectly. Pls any advise will also be appreciated.
I will brief you guys after my appointment and when I get my visa.

It's possible for school to extend your enrollment deadline, tell them to extend it til April 30 with reasons .
Attach proof of ur interview date .But it's at their own discretion to extend it or not.

Thank you very much I will do that straight away. Remain bless

My friend went for an interview on the 16th of January, and she signed that she will block her fintiba account, the embassy sent her a message requesting for her blocking confirmation, and she just got a scanned copy of her SL, and by Monday she will get the hard copy. She's confused cos she doesn't know how to send the message to the embassy telling them she has SL, and can she send the scanned copy through email tomorrow then on Monday she sends the hard-copy?

you can fund your block account from anybody's dorm acct. And it's only the confirmation from the German bank handling your block acct is acceptable as proof that you have funded.

Damn! So they rejected all 3 of us even though we applied to different courses.
Though, my own rejection was because my Transcript was not certified properly according to them, I am beginning to think that FAU admission is too difficult.

In all their courses, it's just one that has Admission Restrictions, the rest courses does not have it. What this means is that once you apply for a course - say Chemistry for instance, and your first degree is in Chimistry too and you have a good grade, you will be giving the admission no matter the number of persons that applied for the same course.

So in your own case @dailydolar, why are they saying you qualification did not meet their demanding courses. I just wander what it takes to meet the requirement.

@dailydolar, was Chimistry your first degree course and how good was your grade?

I am still waiting to hear from them on my resubmitted application. The school is a very good school and it is located in a very nice city.
well my BSc is in chemistry and I have a 2.5german grade and mind u abimnola has a better grade so I just wonder y she we rejected 2. U might b lucky

Yeah definitely she can send the SL soft copy through mail there is no cause for alarm about that, moreover she's isn't the first to experience something of such, and she can send the HARD copy as soon as it arrives.

Yes, passport number, your full name as well as your visa application number (from your visa fee receipt) are also mandatory.

Yes you can.
Also, u can send d bank telex to the embassy as proof dat u've already sent/transferred the fund, so u just waiting for d main confirmation from the German bank. So u will start dat once u receive dat in a couple of days, u'll 4wd to dem. They do understand dat getting the blocked confirmation after funding usually take some few days depending on various factors (bank, means of transfer, location, etc)

They are not being honest with their admission process then.
Now, I just wonder what it takes to meet their requirement.

Even to reply your mail is a major issue for them. after my initial rejection, they asked me to send another application which I did, and up till now they have not said anything about the new application or replied my mail.

...It is well.

Got any school left for summer semester??

FAU is a very good school but getting a place is always a tough nut to crack.
Why don't you try Uni-Bayreuth, they are more relaxed and international unlike FAU. They have a very good and modern Science Faculty, the biggest I have seen so far in Bayern(don't know of TUM though).
Besides the foreigners Office in that city is not so friendly,

Good Afternoon team Dutch land, I recently applied to a university in South Germany through uni-assist which there application deadline is on the 15th of February. And decision would be taken 2weeks after d deadline.... And it's written boldly on the programme fliers that the program will commenced on the 1st of March and the university programme only runs during the summer semester...... Which means if I said I shld defer I would have to wait till next year March...... Luckily I was admitted into a university in Berlin last year where I have to pay huge to complete my programme, 9,000€ and will still needs around €5000 euro for other expenses like housing and flight ticket...... Although my sponsor didn't have the money he will have to hustle for the money...... Please i need your advice if the school it worth going Because my major aim of travelling is 40percent academic and 60percent to upgrade my standard of living please i need your advise.... To pay him back the money after a year..... Thanks your advice is needed urgently

It's not worth going to, there are many German universities which doesn't require you to pay that much. Also consider that someone is hustling the money for you.

My advice would be to look for tution free universities, there are many.

Your sponsor would then only have to hustle for your upkeep money. Also know that you don't really need to travel this year or immediately. You can still hustle for your blocked account like many like others did.

Someone hustling for you doesn't seem right since it looks like he doesn't have the money now, like he would still hustle for it.

Thanks bro, Yea I know FAU is a good school that's why they are doing shakara.

Unfortunately Uni-Bayreuth denied me admission because of one course I didn't offer in my first degree.

I just got admission into TU Freiberg for Winter semester (Environmental Geoscience) Do you have any info about the city? It is in the state of Saxony.
