Lovelygurl. Happy new year. I am having a problem with my hair right now. Otherwise its doing OK. I read onions is good for hair, so I said I should try ginger since the smell is mild unlike onions. I was tired that night after I applied the treatment to my hair, I decided to leave it till the next day before I washed it off. After washing it off the next day, my hair started falling out. If I comb my hair they fall off in an alarming rate... When I touch my hair, bits of hair falls off. Now I'm heart broken, after all the things I have endured, it's time to get rewarded but I'm facing a setback. What should I do now.? I never should have applied Ginger to my hair!!! Please tell me what I can do. |

Ginaz: I don't really know what to tell you. But I would like to advice you, maybe next time you should try to do a patch test before trying any diy. We are allergic to some ingredients and might never know till we use it. For the main time, you could try to do a protective style so you don't have to manipulate your hair so much and also reduce the shedding. I'm sure the shedding will stop with time |

Re: Embracing The Beauty Of Your Natural Hair by Nobody: 10:38pm On Feb 07, 2018 |
Ginaz: Deep condition and out it in a protective style. I think that's the best you can do for now. You are probably allergic to ginger for it to cause such a reaction. Sorry dear |

@lovelygurl, I decided to go natural, but my hair keep breaking seriously in the middle, and the hair line is receding too, what do you think I can do/use? plus my hair is veeery coarse, so combing is always painful. thanks in anticipation. |
Re: Embracing The Beauty Of Your Natural Hair by Nobody: 9:55pm On Feb 14, 2018 |
Chommieblaq: Yes it will, it's a texturizer, similar to a relaxer |
Re: Embracing The Beauty Of Your Natural Hair by Nobody: 9:56pm On Feb 14, 2018 |
florakims: Being painful + breakage is a sign of your hair being too dry. Do you deep condition? |
Re: Embracing The Beauty Of Your Natural Hair by Nobody: 9:57pm On Feb 14, 2018 |
quinSonia: Eat more fruits and vegetables those help but don't expect it to grow long overnight. Genetic is the most important role here. As long as your hair is healthy, the length will come |

lovelygurl: Thanks for the quick response. No, I don't deep condition. will deep conditioning improve it? Can you recommend any product? thanks once again. |

Please help out. I tried twist out on my hair using leave in conditioner olive oil and a mix of avocado and castor oil by mamiya organics but it was an epic fail. Do I have to use gel and curl definition cream? |

lovelygurl:Hi, longest time. We were talking last year about Dreadlocks. I have locked my hair. It will soon be a year but having problems with the edges (although my stylist said I should not worry). And the relocking, which one is better. Palm-rolling or Pin locking? 1 Like |
