The family know where he is, so why are they (the family) deceiving Nigerians and accusing the Nigerian army wrongly?

What is United Nations law on Self Determination.?

Pls go and take a look at it again

If you have honor, you won't force yourself on a people who are fed up with you.

But your political leaders and lawmakers whom you elected to represent you have never told anyone that they are tired of Nigeria or want a Biafra. ....How then do you expect anyone to take this struggle serious?

Dellusions. She really didn't see what her husbsnd was doing as illegal which is just her either being ignorant or having selective amnesia. This is a man that threatened to kill the president.

So she thinks she made a sacrifice by being in London while thousands of luves were put on the front lines to march for a cause that was potentially violent?

"We won't vote" who are the "we"? She and her family? I doubt she has a voter card anyway so I dont expect her to but who shouldnt vote? I thought her husband said the Anambra elections wont hold (we all know how thay ended)

They had people's ears and hearts and yet messed it up; they could have formed a political party with IPOB and went to the senate to cause really changes but one man had Messiah's complex and let it go to poo.

The man messed things up big time.
He would have been respected and feared all over the world. He was moving too fast instead of moving tragically.
Its a pity how they bounced on him and ended his reign in just one night.
If he eventually comes out tomorrow I doubt he would ever be taken seriously again.
I mean this man made the south east governors to pee on their pants almost all the Ibis were with him and arrogance drove in and all even tiny hopes are gone.
I supported him OK the part of restructuring but he was too dim on secession.
Nigeria can never be seceded, I don't see that ever happening.
God Bless Nigeria and save us from the Fulani jihadist

Why and how is this news...?? you cry no elections from your comfort in britain..! Even if there are still a lot of gullible diehard flock.....ready to die while you and your family (including the one hiding, claiming he's missing) lounge in the UK.

Cowardice should end already, buy a ticket come to your country and lobby for the life you want for your people. Practice what you preach in a logical and intellectual way. Enough of chest beating and war chants.

We all know that no true revolution is won by war, rather dialogue and brainstorming. This why lobbying is legal.

You are the one being delusional or outrightly being ignorant. You are not Igbo so should not bother yourself about who the 'we' are.IPOB will never be tempted to form a political party in a comatose system like we have in Nigeria where underage voters hold sway;where someone sits in the comfort of his room to announce election results, where court rulings are blatantly disregarded.A country where the constitution was written and ratified by a handfull in favour of their people. The people who run IPOB are far wiser than being tempted to form a political party that your types are canvassing. You better continue to eat the crumbs on your table and mind your business.

this should be the second time I am quoting your comment. I don't think you made any sense when you talk about the legality of what he did. And threatening the president in a Democracy should be followed up democratically, not by the show of force. Or is the show of force legal advice?

What did her husband do that was illegal? He asked for the independence of his people? The same right that people like Zik, Awolowo and Eyo Ita asked the British authorities for which you Nigerians now celebrate every 1st October?

Nnamdi Kanu threatend to kill the president? Have you even asked your self what the law says should happen if a person verbally threaten the presidents life? Thousands if not millions of people who hate Buhari verbally threaten Buhari's life and wish him death on a daily bases. Its nothing new. There is no President in the world who doesnt recieve thousands of verbal death threats from his haters everyday.

The so called thousands of lives put in the frontline were put there by your Nigerian government that is killing unarmed people expressing their right to self determination accorded to them under international laws which Nigeria is signatory to. As for IPOB having the potential to be violent, what did your government do against the movements that have long moved past "potential violence" to armed and killing people? Herdsmen, Nigeria Delta militants and cultists? All armed and killing people, but your headache is "potential to be violent".

I laugh in Igbo

Dont mind some zombie commenters on this thread. They are only trying to save face

Not just the president - but he threatened to turn the entire country into a wasteland without leaving anything breathing!
Jonathan deployed soldiers to the streets of Lagos to stop people who only gathered to protest fuel subsidy removal, without any threat to life or property

He let people kisd his feet? Ehile in Yorubs culture prople are still prostrsting on the floor for thrir elders

In Hausa-Fulani culture, they still kneel down to their elders

One person kisses Kanus feet and he lost focus? You think the governmrnt sent the army because someone kissed his feet?

is it customary in Igbo culture to kiss a person's feet?

that action showed that kanu himself would have been a dictator if the dream of Biafra materialized.

the army was sent because the FG knew that people, even among the Igbo's were becoming skeptical about kanu's speeches. is kanu ready to provide for the millions of Igbo's who would have been forced to relocate back to their homelands?

would he take responsibility for the massacre of the Igbo's that would have occurred?

now don't get me wrong, Nigeria needs to chart a new path, be it as a united nation or a separate entities...

but that new path should not be achieved by hate.
