I'm surprised that OP didn't include Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library. Any visitor or tourist who leaves out this place out of his itinerary in Abeokuta, has done him or herself a disservice.

I visited the place when last I was in Abeokuta, and concluded that Obasanjo wisely invested his 'loot' from Abuja.

The Op Failed To Add That There Are Elevators To Lift Tourists To The Summit Of The Rock From Where One Can Have A Panoramic View Of The Ancient City(With Plenty Brown Roofs). One Can Also Spot The Famous Baptist Boys' High From The Top Of Olumo. Abeokuta And Ogun State Generally Enjoy And Feel The Highest Impact Of The Lagos Spill-over Effect.

Been to all, OOPL is good sha. As for olumo, the elevator was state of art...... exquisite.....glass panellel but wait o, why did i climb with my legs to the top ehn? I blame it on that olumo palm wine. I even imagined myself pressing the buttons ,Chai! Nigerians so value maintenance culture ehn angry

As for them palace & museum, well if you're the type that prefers daydreaming during history class back then, don't go there & come & start yarning it's boring.

Its not an hotel. It's a bar. But hard-core Ashewos are available there from 9pm till dawn. You can arrange and fuc k beside the road sef if possible

Those roofs can be replaced with solar panels. Subsidy for electrical roofs is a real thing in the west. Hopefully Nigeria will copy.
