If each state was independent of the federal govt, this would have made more sense.. |

This one pass me o, what does Kano have to offer Lagos? ...Underage voting? Lagos shud have done this with Abia, which is the leading state in Nigeria in terms of manufacturing, not Kano. To those saying Dangote refinery i shake my head for u, that is a private investment. Kano state govt has nothing to do with it...Did any Kebbi local invest in lagos before LAKE rice? and LAKE rice is a huge sucess. Well both govt will gain something sha, lets watch and see what Lagos will gain...cus truly Itesiwaju eko lo je wa logun and Eko o ni baje |

So, MoU on what exactly? No specifics, only bland expressions thrown here and there, then the two govs append their blood on the covenant?! In the long run I see Lagos as the 'fall guy'... And kano? Ehhh... They say no one ever beats the hausa/fulani at the 'conquest' game... |

I must commend Igbos for ignoring this thread and the first one. I actually hope us Yoruba can show same decorum when it comes to Igbo affairs. |

Geolalisa:This your line of thought looks like that of people of potopoto republic, aka developers. For God sake, don't associate northerners with land grabbing. We don't claim Lagos is no man's land. We know Lagos belong to Yoruba and only Yoruba. Neither are we attachee by force like some people who would never do with their own thing, except they must claim others' own, even with prides. That is why we are going into this friendly, harmonious and symbiotic relationship with Lagos openly, signed and sealed with mutual respect. Surely, people from the hate region would like this good step. The myth they so much hold among themselves that Lagos cannot survive without them withers day after day, and they know who really is losing. At any rate, there is nothing Haters can do. |

Nice one but, I haven't really felt the effect of the Lagos-Kebbi cooperation. Lake rice is extremely scarce and is only sold during festive periods. Ambode should improve on the output of Lake rice abeg. |
