Angry customer sets bank on fire (Video)

An infuriated man believed to be bank’s customer has taken law into his hand by setting the local bank on fire.

In an amateur video made available to 9News Nigeria by an eye witness, the angry man was seen emerging from the banking hall already in flames with a gallon of what was believed to be petrol and walked in a fast pace to the bank’s ATM machine and poured the petrol all over the ATM machine before torching it with a lighter.

In the midst of onlookers, the man walked out of the bank’s premises towards a motorbike parked in front of the bank and set it ablaze as well before moving towards a parked vehicle to torch it as well.

With the intervention of the on-lookers, the angry man left the vehicle and started running upwards on the main road where the local bank was situated.

At this point sound of siren believed to be that of the police was heard before the man got out of sight.

As at time of this report, the cause of this incident has not been confirmed neither has 9News Nigeria been able to confirm the identity of the culprit and the particular bank involved.

Seems to me the people/ person recording the video already knew what was about to ensue. If it is a bank, it must be a local cooperative/ contributory bank.
If you ask me, whatever is making the idiotic man so agrieved to extent of setting a building ablaze might even be less than N200k. Whatever cash and property that will be destroyed wont it be worth far more than the money he is agrieved about that is making him run mad? These crazy acts of lawlessness and insanity are poor men mentality. A rich man who feels his right has been abused will simply approach the court to seek justice and not resort to taking laws into his hands.
Whatever the reason, arson is a criminal act and it is punishable. By the time he goes to jail he will know how far. Yeye man.

The Ipod man is so frustrated with his life

The Bank due to many of their incompetencies might have caused him a life changing situation. He probably sees this action as his only hope of making a statement or making them realise his hurt.
Not endorsing it, but on a side note, who fights for the common man when his rights are denied him?

Regardless of how little the man's claim is, he could have been caused a huge loss just by someone being arrogant (bank manager/customer care).
