Most likely you bought a fake or defective Tecno CM. I'm using the same phone and the battery last me up to 10 hours heavy use with MTN, and SMILE 4G network. The phone battery perform wonderfully better than my Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, despite the fact that CM is 3,000mah and RN3 is 4,000mah.

There is a difference between owning a new phone and buying a used phone. You bought a used note 3 se phone in December 2017. If data is not an issue, update to miui 9 and post SOT.

Sorry, but comments like this still get me surprised, imagine buying a new phone because of fear of damage . OK, which parts in particular do you refer to? Will gladly wait for parts to arrive Nigeria for 2 weeks than get into your predicament! The way it is, it sounds as if your new bae is already causing you headaches, you know this issue will last more than two weeks - the approximate time it takes to get parts down here.

Yes update and do a factory reset. If you are in a hot environment, expect the phone to get hot on heavy usage, coupled with the fact that it's an all metal phone. Though mine never crosses 39 deg.

Don't mind him. Currently I own RN3 SE, Fero Royal X1 and Tecno CM, with 4000mah, 4000mah and 3000mah respectively. To state the fact, Fero Royal X1 is better than all of them battery wise.

What attracted me to Camon CM wasn't even the battery. But the design, camera and the weight. The phone is super slim and super lightweight with mad camera, 13 megapixel both front and back with flashlight. My RN3 SE camera is wack despite the 16megapixel.
I wasn't expecting much from CM battery, but I was surprised the battery too is superb at that capacity. I have used phantom 5 3 years ago with the same battery capacity, but can't be compared with this. The phone also have good RAM management.

It's a common knowledge that miui's camera algorithm is laughable compared to others. Some Persons have installed gcam and the experience has been unbelievable. You should also know that the note 3 is a 2016 phone.
