Deadline for discounts and scholarships @

DBS- 1,000 EUROS
GRIFFITH- 1,000 TO 2,000 EUROS
DIT - 5,000 EUROS
NCI - 1,000 TO 4,000 EUROS
DIFC - 2,000 EUROS

28TH March, 2018.

Republic of Ireland Full scholarship ends 5pm 23rd March, 2018.

I want to add that I did a search and found that the scholarship isn't applicable to all institutions. There's a list of eligible institutions. I can confirm that Griffith College falls under the QQI awarding body. This information may not make much sense now but I'll advice anyone applying to take time out to read the instructions carefully before applying.

Here's the link to where I found the document: http://eurireland.ie/assets/uploads/2017/06/Government-of-Ireland-International-Education-Scholarship-Call-2018.pdf

Good luck everyone!

Good day everyone!

I am conducting a surey on the usability of Canadian websites and would appreciate if you can take time out to fill this 1-minute survey for me.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TVRC5B7

Please note that it is only restricted to people that have visited websites of Canadian Universities, some time in their lives.

Thank you very much! grin

I’m applying for the scholarship but I’m guessing the result won’t be out till May (I’m speculating) so I want to pay my fees this month so I can qualify for the €1000 off. Here’s my question, if I pay after submitting the application, will I get a refund if I’m selected for the scholarship?

Its Been Nice so far..Not as Fast as London, paris, sydney e.t.c

Not a lot of Africans, So getting stared at isn't unusual....The only Challenge is accommodation..but asides that..Life is good

Jobs are available if you can combine school and the hustle but honestly...school is a full time job

if you have specific questions..i would oblige you

Hopefully this could be home or a stepping stone to other "bigger" countries.....

Hello Pristine88,

As a postgraduate student, can one get a per time job in one's field e.g while also schooling ? Or what kind of jobs are readily available?/

Nice Template
Glokit:
For those who care for format on how to write statement of purpose...here is a comprehensive format..please don't copy someone else...Ireland Embassy officials are crazy

Prepare the statement of Purpose

Paragraph one: Clearly describe educational history, grades, subjects, specializations, areas where you excelled.

Paragraph two: Clearly explain why you wish to pursue this course

Paragraph three: Clearly explain how the chosen course relates to past education. A change of stream of study should be clearly explained as this is a popular reason for visa refusal. If qualifications you have completed in your home country are similar to the course being applied for you must clearly explain the reason for the repetition. For example, you can refer to the international recognition of the qualification, lack of practical or experiential learning or different subject specializations as the reason for the repetition.

Paragraph four: Clearly explain why you have chosen Griffith College.

Paragraph five: Clearly explain why you have chosen Ireland, and specifically Dublin, Cork or Limerick as a study destination.

Paragraph six: Clearly explain the need to do the study course in Ireland. This is another frequent reason for visa refusal so this needs to be clearly defined and elaborated on. Reasons like the vibrant IT sector and multinational base, experiential learning should perhaps be mentioned and intelligent reference should be made to specific course content and how it is superior to a similar course in your home country.

Paragraph seven: All gaps in education MUST be clearly explained, if time has been taken out for work or because of illness or bereavement the work reference letter, doctor’s certificate or death certificate should be included.

Paragraph eight: This is by far the most important paragraph, where you must clearly explain their future aspirations and that you will be returning home after your studies. Reasons like family business, marriage commitments, the oldest child or only son or the booming economy in the home country or an offer from a future employer should be detailed in this section. If a job offer is given as a reason for returning home, you should then include the job offer letter with full contact details of the manager. The contact details must be a land line, not a mobile and the company should have a website that visa officers can access.

Congratulations bro.
1. Approximately, like how much remained in ur (or sponsor's) account balance as at when you print it for visa purpose?
2. How long to get the admission and the visa?

Go make your country proud

Congrats on your visa

When is your prgramme starting and when are you traveling?

Make sure you have an offline version of the map of dublin handy on your phone and get flipflops before you travel.

Try and look for temp accommodation from here so you'll have a place to stay when you get here while you search for a more permanent accommodation.

Wow! That's alot. Do you mind telling me what course you're studying? I got admission to study Information Security also in Griffith (Limerick), I'm guessing the schedule will differ per course (Let me just prepare my mind on how tasking this will be). What campus are you in? The Dublin Limerick or Cork Campus?
