"Yeah, he [Bailly] was fully fit for a couple of weeks. Yeah, but he's okay. The only one that is back to the team is Fellaini. “It’s basically the same [squad]. The people injured are recovering step by step and a few of them are very, very close to a return – but not yet. "We are fine, we have a squad ready for everything. The number we choose – 23 – was to protect them and we are coping with that.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

“In my mentality, every match is the same. I'm not very good on that culture - ‘this rivalry is special, that match is special’. "I've never been very good at it. I never look to AC Milan has the biggest rival, I never look at Atletico [Madrid] as the enemy, I never look to Spurs or Arsenal as the big rival, I've never been any good on it. “For me it is just a big match, two historical clubs, not just in England, but in the world. In this moment, [there are] important points for the top four, important points for second position, which is better than third or fourth place. "I still don’t look to some matches as special opponents. It's just a big match, because we are speaking about two big clubs.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

“I want to win, of course I want to win. It's a big match, it's a big opponent. It's the team that's just behind us [in the Premier League table]. "It's a team that is already in the Champions League last eight, so of course it's a big match. But, I'm not very good on that rivalry, every opponent is a rival for me.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

“I know [the importance of beating Liverpool to the fans] but I don't think the fans will be happy if I say that Liverpool is the biggest match of the season and then Sevilla is not a big match. "Everybody wants to go to Wembley for the [FA Cup] semi-finals and then I say that Brighton is not as big as the Liverpool match. "My job is to prepare my players the best I can for every match, then a fan is a fan, a professional is a professional and we have to face every match with the same mentality. "I don't get that a match means 10 points. No – the match is three points and Liverpool is a historical rival, yes, but in a positive way for me.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

“It helps [Fans' Supports]. At Crystal Palace, I can imagine, if you are losing 2-0, our away fans would feel disapproval or criticism or support. "We were 2-0 down and we only felt support. And at 2-1 we kept feeling more belief and, at 2-2, we were feeling they wanted us to go for it, so they can help and, of course, Old Trafford, is a huge majority of Manchester United fans, so they can help.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

“I don't [know which one is more important]. Honestly, I don't. We have three matches now: Liverpool, Sevilla and Brighton. If you ask me, if I could choose one to be the most important one, I can't choose. For me, the most important one is Liverpool, because it is the next. "But, the other two are knockout, the other two means we are in the Champions League quarter-finals or not and we go to Wembley in a semi-final [in the FA Cup] or not.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

Mourinho ontop Lukaku: “E dey very important to me. The kind moral and mindset wey e get, i love am. After the third goal wey we score against Palace, i tell am say make e go play Central defence and na wetin e do. I trust am. E be sabi boy.” |

Mourinho ontop hin critics: “Some of these people wey dey give me advise, why dem no apply am when dem be managers?. But na sack letter wey dem collect. Now dem dey gimme opinions and e con be like say dem sabi everything. No be everytime wey i dey listen, na sometimes.” |

“Some of the guys [Pundits] with an opinion, they couldn't resolve their own problems when they were managers, so they are giving opinions like they have solutions for everything. "But it is not like that. They are in a position where they can give opinions about everything. Sometimes I read [them], sometimes I don't, sometimes I listen. "Honestly, this week I was more focused on enjoying the Champions League and Europa League and preparing for my match than focusing on opinions. But, of course, everybody has an opinion.” - JOSE MOURINHO |

Mourinho ontop the #MUFC fans: “Dem dey epp. At Palace, we bin dey lose 2-0 and our away fans con dey ginger us. As the game con begin 2-1, dey con increase their noise. As e become 2-2, we know say dem want make we win, so dem epp us.” |

Jose ontop #MUFC vs Liverpool: “For me, na big match o. Two clubs wey get history gan, no be just for England, worldwide sef. Right now, e dey important for Top four and for Second position, which better pass Third or Fourth.” |

"He [Lukaku] is an important guy for me, he's one of the guys that I trust, that I love the attitude, that I love the character. "Against Crystal Palace, there was nothing that happened after our third goal, but I told him, 'central defender' so, after the third goal, he was playing central defender in the back five with [Chris] Smalling and [Victor] Lindelof, because I couldn't make any more changes. "So when I say to a striker, go there and do the job for me, he's a sergeant, you know. He's a guy that you can trust, his attitude is phenomenal. "That's why I've always thought and told you many times that, for me, it's not just about the goals he scores, but what he brings to the team and he brings to the team exactly that - that spirit." - JOSE MOURINHO |

adebayo201:The one that is still in UCL and FA Cup with you? It's like you think 2nd place gets a trophy. If we finish top 4 end of season, and win UCL or FA Cup, then we're still better than you if you finish 2nd with no other trophy. Anyway i don quote you. Just pray say your day of reckoning no go show. Cos we go bomb this zone ![]() |

Nihilstjnr:Why shame go catch am? The keywords you're ignoring in that speech is "after the 3rd goal." Matic scored that winner a minute into extra time, if we had decided to attack more the thunder that fired Real Madrid in last year's El Classico would've fired us coz of our greed. In this kind of scenario, with about a minute less to play, if Mourinho decides to bring in his coaching staff to help defend, nobody would blame him. We're okay with Ukaku playing as a defensive strike back sef in situations like this. ![]() |

I know the importance of beating Liverpool to the fans but I don't think the fans will be happy if I say that Liverpool is the biggest match of the season and then Sevilla is not a big matchfrom this statement I can infer the match is going be an unentertaining draw! best bet scoreline 1:1 |

Nihilstjnr:Better shame for your apari turned bob marley, arugo monkey of a coach. Shame for your hairdresser of a striker who would rather spend hours standing to plait his wife's hair than stand up to be counted for just 90 minutes of a football match. Finally you better shame for your hair dyeing, ball control averse, pseudo midfielder who is about to cost you a pair of top range Airmax while costing your team crucial points along the way. In addendum put some RESPEK on the name of the manager who delivered your club 50% of its league titles, and who is the only one ever to retain a league title for you people. |
