We warned Yoruba people about the negative effects of Taxation but they called us liepobs and pigs.

Now I'm really scared to take this bill for our Lekki property. If this house would be paying close to 5m with penalty multiplying at this crazy rate, mine would be close to double.

I will suggest the government should net this law on the third property owned by an individual in the state. So we can control greed of some looters. We will not be having a single man with 100 houses.

Lol... over N4mil was charged. If its a rented property, the tenant is probably paying N2.5mil per annum to the landlord. So now the landlord gets a bill of over N4mil per annum for land use, what do you think will happen to the rent?

House + Land cannot worth between 75m-100m.
So 76K/year. Which I believe is still too much.
Each tenant will pay an additional 19k/year.

I am very happy with the way the useless governor is strangling lagosians. Too many annoying and mumu people in this lagos. Tribal sentiments and sheer foolishness won't let them see the truth and fight for it.

You can already see some useless idiot.ts who cannot afford three square meal shouting ambode for second term. Some selfish goats and musicians who are benefiting from the evil of the government have started campaigning for 2nd term for him. People be saying he is best governor. No need to throw tantrums. The truth is that majority of houses owned by non Yorubas in Lagos belong to the Igbos so to a large extent this law is viewed as an an anti-Igbo law.

Majority of Yoruba are civil servant in Lagos state. A good number of them are retired and exempted from payment while some are in the process of retiring. Are you saying retiree from other states that own house in Lagos are exempted too? Just educate me ...no insult pls
