many guys have done more for their wives than what op just listed but their wives still treated them like trash. The thing is that if a woman doesn't love u no matter what u do as a man for her she will still treat u with contempt. My mindset was similar to yours and the ops until I learnt the hard way.
When it comes to emotions, women are the least reasonable among the two genders. You have to be diplomatic or you might end up in master/slave kinda relationship without even knowing.
Good women truly deserves to be treated like queens but trust me women are very good at concealing their true nature. No bad woman will admit that she is bad either.
