Wait until you see who gets injured next cheesy
This is how we know you don’t play any kind of sport at all.

Injuries are terrible, and anyone who play sport shouldn’t wish it on their opponents.

First of all, who are you talking to? You don't know which one of him (them) can ball. cheesy

In my opinion, the Warriors had no business playing Curry last night especially if you have conceded the western conference to the Rockets like they claimed. Curry needs to be healthy for the Warriors to make a less stressful deep run in the postseason. I would have shut him down until the end of the regular season or maybe have him play the final two games at most. You can only roll the same ankle for so long without getting hurt.

Even when he comes back for the post-season, I am wondering what his state of mind would be. Would he hesitate to drive to the bucket or engage in any activity under the rim? how would Kerr manage his minutes and plays? Steph is now 30, the youth of the 20's to bounce back from injuries especially joint injuries begin to wane. Steph and the Warriors have to manage his 30's carefully so he can play longer and that is the pragmatic truth.
I totally understand you but I disagree.

First, it was a freak injury. Had nothing to do with him coming back now. He may have come back in the playoffs and gotten the same injury. In fact, (God forbid) but Harden can pick up an injury just walking down his stair case that would rule him out till next season. I would have agreed with your point if the injury was pertaining to his ankle again without any hard contact from a 300lb center in McGee.

Then secondly, we only had 9 games ahead of the Blazers with 11 games to spare. If we lost all eleven games and they won 9 of their last 11 they would have peeped us to the 2nd seed considering they have the tiebreaker against us this year. So we needed at least 3 more wins to put them to-bed obviously I made these considerations without knowing the undermanned celts will beat the Blazers.

I am disappointed that he is injured but I am optimistic that it won’t be a week-long injury. My ultimate desire is for all the star players to be fully healthy before or at least during the playoffs.

High time we invested in a decent Center.. Zaza and McGee are just too clumsy for my liking. I knew someone was going to get hurt when McGee jumped..
Zaza is the one that annoys me the most but it is what it is. We always get drama like this when something huge is in the offing.

See Curry, the consummate class-act. Went to shake McGee before limping off so he won’t feel bad.

I almost cried yesterday. Could not even sleep.

Baba, for real at the embolden? That the Warriors may lose 9 of 11 games without Curry? Come on man, you of all people should know that is an exaggeration.

Look at it this way, now that Curry is out for about 4 weeks with a left MCL knee sprain, are the Warriors going to fall out of the 2nd spot in the western conference? Absolutely not and that was the avoidable situation irrespective. The other all-stars are more than capable of securing the second spot without Curry.

Baba, Curry's glass right ankle is the sole reason why the Warriors were able to assemble the all-star roster you have right now. That ankle has suffered recurrent trauma over his entire career, consequently, if Harden and Curry fall from the stairs and all variables remaining constant, Curry may come off worse than Harden. I have watched Harden tweak and roll his ankles this season but survived.

Again, Curry is now 30, if the Warriors want to enjoy him during the latter stages, they must both manage him better than they are doing right now.

Nah. You did not get me, bro. I know it seems implausible that we would lose all those games but contingency is important in planning well. I thought, there is no way we lose 3 straight games to Cavs with 2 of those games ahome but we did. My perception of what is certain in sports (especially basketball) changed right after.

Then secondly, my argument was that the ankle injuries of yesteryears had nothing to do with the injury of yesterday. They could have rested him till game one of the playoffs and in the same situation, he would still have gotten injured.

I mentioned Harden to say even the soon-to-be MVP could pick up a season-ending injury just walking up his staircase and it won't have to do with how he was managed by D'Antoni. Freak injuries don't respect management or injury records.

Then I concluded that there is an extra spice that you may be purposely ignoring: Harden hand checks and flops and the refs buy it.
eheeeeeen! now u have come out. after all dis grammar. so it is flop that is making Harden MVP abi? ok bros
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 12:22am On Mar 25, 2018
SmooshCHN:
Hand check is more reason why Harden would find it difficult to look like a star. One man here doesn't need to flop and flail around for 10fts/game to average 30pts. Muggsy Bogues, Spud webb, Steve Nash, Jason Williams, Jason kidd, John Stockton thrived. Same with Curry. he definitely would have been the same superstar he is now and never have been a bench player 20yrs ago with this talent..
nope. that is why i mentioned his strength. Jordan had to get stronger, without necessarily bulking up. Kobe had to, TMac had to,Nowitzki had to, because the league was much more physical early in their career. Harden might not get the same calls, but he will still be at the rim.

Pls dont mention Curry in the same breath as Kidd or Stockton or Bogues. Those guys were animals...they would hold their own on the court or in the streets. Curry is just not built like that. Nothing wrong with Curry being Curry, but hes not a roughneck

wao. just googled it. I saw the news flash earlier and I thought it was the old injury. Man, that is rough. McGee cant be feeling too good right now. If its 4 weeks, he could be back by the time they really need him, deep in the playoffs. Or maybe shut it down for the year rather than risk re-injury, just like Kawhi

I saw that, and it was a class act truly. I would still feel absolutely terrible if i was in mcgee position, considering he didn't have to drop down like that, i believe he could have controlled it better. Anways, What is done is done.

Pelicans need to make way for the Nuggets somehow. They are the only team in that West that can't pick up more than 1 game in a series. I'm even surprised they are way up there

At least we know Nuggets record with above .500 teams.

Loool why fool yourself trying to catch a team that cannot be caught? I'd shut everybody down till the playoffs if I were Kerr. What's there to prove in the regular season? Especially for this Warriors team

Embiid Simmons, both special. Plus Reddick Saric Corvington and even Belinelli. Good shooters tend to give us problems. Yes we'll beat them but it will be a gritty one. I'd rather avoid that in the first round.

Inexperience would still catch up with them come playoffs. They haven't paid their dues yet as talented as they might be. Barring injuries Cavs should win in 6 at worst
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:26am On Mar 26, 2018
If you want your Curry to be getting the same FTs, he can go ask Nowitzki how he transformed from a finesse shooter to a legit forward. If you wind back the clock 10 years, Curry will be a bench player. Harden would still be a superstar. Because the game was more physical, you could hand check and contact was allowed.
wait oo!! You really said this?? cheesy Harden would still be a super Star and Curry will be a bench player.. cheesy All because this lightskin nigga doesn't flop and flail like a butterfly? I remember where he basically humped on MCW's back and they called a foul on MCW. Where Curry touched his beard and he flopped, they called it on Steph. Where he locks his arm around you while driving and they give him free throws. Nobody gets the type of call Harden gets, nobody and that's not a knock on his talents. This same small Steph still managed to crack top 3 in the league last year in FG/drive for the last 2 years, averaged mvp numbers without flailing and flopping. Same person you believe would be a bench player 20yrs ago. cheesy
There are many high IQ guy in the NBA only that they're bothered about winning and don't resort to mastering the art of flopping, flailing and locking arms like Uncle. Countless compilations dey YouTube and na the refs dey cause.. LeBron with the IQ dey there. He wouldn't even get those calls if he tried. He probably needs to bulk up too sad
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 1:31am On Mar 26, 2018
Fact is, the NBA would be unwatchable if the refs give everybody gets those stupid calls they give Harden.. The league will pack up in 2yrs if all players need to do is get crazy ISO games and then master the diverse art of flopping. We'll destroy Bron Bron, Cousins, Curry, AD displaying this rare talent and say the league is soft. Maybe you'll enjoy but I bet 70% wouldn't want to watch it. It's that simple.

Since you guys are not good enough to simply and consistently blow out teams. It would stand to reason that you guys have to get your lineups right from the jump. I'd seriously consider benching Melo and probably cutting down his minutes as well because he is a defensive sieve (Lack of ability and effort) on nights his 3pts don't fall he is pretty much useless as his midrange game has also dropped
