They likely won't meet Boston in the first round anyway unless they finished 7th so this argument is not really a useful one..

On the flip side, Fultz is a liability defensively and it may be too early to shoulder offensive expectations from Fultz. But I agree that Ben does not score enough points shooting the ball and that would mean doing more to get others involved. I am interested in seeing how durable Embiid would be in the postseason.

Pretty much every playoff team in the east looks like it could give us a run for our money, especially without Kevin love. Plus the Cavs haven't won in Miami since 2010 but Whenever I start feeling scared it precedes a feeling of déjà vu. I remember feeling the same way last year and we pretty much obliterated the whole east. No reason to think this season will be any different.
