A car towing a trailer is accelerating on a level road. The car exert a force on the trailer whose. magnitude is
A the same as that of the force the trailer exerts on the car
B the same as that of the force the trailer exerts on the road
C the same as that of the force the road exerts on the trailer
D greater than that of the force the trailer exerts on the car
E none of the above

D is the answer! Considering other options, if the force exerted on both body is the same they will still be in a state of rest (inertia) . So an additional force must be exerted on the car to cause motion.....

[Hello,
I am johnson(litmus) I saw your performance, the 80% in PUTME stuff, I must commend you for such a profound succes. The reason for reaching you is cos I want you to put me through how you did came out outstanding. my humble score for UTME was 302 and I will be glad to perform better than you did in PUTME.
Regards,

Very easy, just read if textbook until nothing left to know. Then scoring 95+ will be a walk in the park.

Questions like this Newton's third law of motion comes to mind

the answer is "A" sir...what you stated is a misconception of newton third law...Newton third law state that if two body interact, they exert equal and opposite force on each other... Three condition need to be met..the force must (1) be in opposite direction (2) of equal magnitude(3)and act on opposite body..the 3rd condition is what many ppl don't understand...The force does not cancel each other cos it does not act on the same body...since same force is applied on both, the body will accelerate base on difference in their masses..in which the car will accelerate more than the truck in order to tow the truck since its mass is smaller...F=ma

another application of newton third law is a body falling under gravity. Assuming a man fall under gravity, the Earth exert a force of on the man while the man exert the same force of equal magnitude but of opposite direction on the Earth..According to F=ma,they both accelerate but the acceleration of earth is very small(can't be seen) compare to that of man which is 9.81..this is due to the fact that the earth is so massive compare to that man....the force they exerted on each other does not cancel..

..only stem and leave has cuticle..and its function is to prevent water loss cos it posses cutin which is impermeable.. The root of a plant is submerge so,no cuticle is needed..pilferous layer is found at the root cap( outermost layer of the cortex).. They produce extension finger like called (root hair) and they breakdown with age...am not sure of E..but will go for A

But you know that the force that the car will exert will be more than the weight of the trailer plus frictional force??

No sir..The car will exert a force on the truck and the truck will exact the same force...if the force exerted by the car is greater than the frictional force, the truck will move...if not,the truck won't move...its like you pushing a wall..u exert a force on a wall and the wall exact the same force on you..the greater u exact ur force, the wall push back with same opposite force..if the force you exerted is greater than the static frictional force of the wall, the wall will move but that does not means you have exerted a greater force than that of the wall....its better if I explain verbally..

Answer A... Y because cuticle are only found in leaves old leaves to be precise dat y we have curricular transpiration if it is found in d root den it can't take part in transpiration process
Secondly it is only lenticel Dat can be found in both stem and roots not cuticle (it's like a water proff covering in thick leaves) or stomata......... I rest my case

How many orbital are found in third energy level...(a) 16 (b) 9 (c) 11 ( d) 15..lemme answer it...orbital is a region or a place where an electron is likely to be found.. Orbital is not the same thing as subshell..Shell are..K,L,M,N ...... Sub shell are...s,p,d,f...in "s" subshell,we have only one orbital..in "p" subshell,we have 3 degenerate orbital,in "d" subshell,we have 5 degenerate orbital..in "f" subshell 7 .. 1n third enenegy level,we have 3s,3p and 3d..calculating it,that made 9orbital...the answer is (b)..quick formula..number of electron in a subshell is "2n"square( where n stand for no of shell).. Number of orbital in a subshell is "n" square..number of orbital in first shell/energy level is 1..1square =1..2nd shell= 4..third shell= 9...sori 4 d epistle......

If it's d number of electron it is 18 ..m is third energy level using 2n^2=2*3^2=18
If it d number of sub shell it is 6
Non of ur option conveys Dat

seriously, plant stem does not have cuticle..you need to do some research...although cuticle are mainly found in leave, some stem have cuticle..Even,some aeriel root has cuticle...BT their cuticle is thick not thin..that's why the Answer is (A)....I made a mistake the other time saying root does not have cuticle..
