Yes, it may even take longer time to some extent.
Not every list that is being given to FCC that they will just agree and issue certicate, they have to go through the list and ensure it conform with the FCC rule. If the find out thet DPR have done whatever they like, they will disagree and send the list back to DPR for corrections, and thats where the list will be moving back and front untill all the parties agree. But when the list is out of FCC, it is left for DPR to print and issue APLs whenever they like. Is not as easy as we think, may God help us

Just being curious here, was there a compliance certificate for the OND recruitment? If yes, was it not a part of the same 2016 DPR recruitment and does every cadre require its own clearance from the FCC?

People just come here to post whatever they deduce from their own assessment and from whatever they call "source", for me, my advice is that everybody remain calm and hopeful, all these speculators are might be more confused than lots of people here who have no "source" or time to speculate based on their mental assessment because all I've seen by the speculators so far are mere guess work. My one cent speculation though.

I sincerely kept the belief, cos i saw it as an escape route away from banking as banking is quite a bore..... but now, i fear for what might be going on @ this very decisive stage . For all it is worth, the belatedness for sending out the APLs speaks volume and it would be self-deceiving to keep ignoring the obvious writing on the wall for religious sentiments and many other permissive reasons.
As difficult as it may seem, i might need to intentionally make an effort to move-on barring in mind that i applied and was interviewed for this job. If it works well then its a testimony, if in the reverse life has gat to move on.
Finally, i will always pray for our dear country NIGERIA. And beseech we the youth never to let ourselves down when the opportunity to make a CHANGE eventually opens to us. It will obviously be my last post here unless DPR thinks otherwise, but i wont go without saying i enjoyed being here. Met a lot of guys (though virtual) that came across as being a mix of every thing. Intelligent,humourous,obssessive et al.

I just want to share a discovery I made yesterday and let you draw your own inferences.
I was in one of DPR's field offices yesterday for a personal business and discovered (was not told) that out of the 4 ND guys taken for the state, only 1 went for the training/induction as the remaining 3 will be having theirs on a later date.
Interestingly, their list didn't come out at the same time........

You may be correct though. If the state you meant was Lagos then, my friend is one of those that hadn't gone for their training. My friend told me his training would be later in the year.

I shared it here some weeks ago, some said I lied. In fact, they paid their meal allowance yesterday, and it's a lot of money just for meal allowance. Don't ask me how i knew. The meal allowance is more than 80% Nigerian graduate monthly salaries, including me. God will help us.

So those who, although have gotten the job, will not be getting meal allowance

Don't place all your hope on dpr, it's can only be in 2 ways, the recruitment may have closed or may haven't, could be on merit or on man knw man, you can be in or out; I ony ask you all of one thing, just live as you never applied for this job, put all your hope in God for divine upliftment at the appointed time and remain faithful in your various task. The era of speculation is fading, and leading to the era of motivational speaking. Out of the two, I...personally, like speculation less... It is well. It's not as if the wait so far is longer that between application submission and the test, or the test and the interview.

Hello everyone, hope you all are doing really well, i know its hard for some of us after planning our lives around the hope of getting into DPR to not have any information as to even the date of appointments.. however I want to assure some of us that have doubts about smartgrid's information to get rid of those doubts as all what he has said has been on point and confirmed. the delay right now is based on political calculations.. "making sure the right stakeholders have been consulted" so they don't misbehave after the appointments have gone out. even the head of corporate services did not expect the recruitment to push after the first quarter. no one really knows when the so-called "consultation" will occur but we hope really soon. everything is set. I know we have heard this too often but "anytime from now", really! .. anyone that fixes a date at this point has no idea whats going on.. so I beg you to believe me and not to worry yourselves on unnecessary speculations. do have a good day
