but my friend got a highlander 2013 for his father this year and he bought through cotonou despite he just came from canada sef, he told me he bought the car and beffore crossing thw boarder he paid the duty at apapa and went back to carry the vehicle. This is cool

U might av succeded in buying dis one but ur C number might av been tampered, and customs go use u chop tire wen dey notice it. And u risked ur money cos d car must av been brought in illegaly, if to say customs hammer dem wen dem dey fly am ur eye for Don clear by now.

This is how it works, but t would be cloned, ie same make and colour different car.So once the owner of the real C number notices this clone, yours would be deleted, then you will be fish for customs to feed on.We never said U cant fly it in ofcos bribes still takes place.

Then you have cloned Docs.Anytime you or the real owner of teh C number get into Customs Net, you are doomed, as the real owner can do backward verification, you cant.you car wont have BL, delivry note, port papers etc.

oga U can only obtain papers made in Nigeria, but things like Bill of L, its out of the custom hands, also booking recipt is out of the custom hand, you cannot forge the manifest of the ship as well, so plz speak of what you know!these three things I mentioned Even devil nor fit obtain am, if he did na fake!

One question pls, if you find out your car duty papers are fake and you decide to go and pay duty on it, is it also impossible??

You can, but it wont be straight 4ward,I can assure you.I think you would need to convince them.tbh I wont cross fingers on that.
