The problem I have with the Lagos government is that the legislature is a dead institution that only act as a rubber stamp to decisions of the executive.

It cuts both ways, but the reflexive Tinubu apologists would be easier to slap down if so many of those they are responding to weren’t so clearly motivated by tribal animus. That is the paradoxical thing about the selective obsession some commenters have with Tinubu (as well as with calling all Yoruba people “slaves” etc): these supposed opponents of the man garner for him a level of sympathy he would never have gotten without their help. How many Yoruba people defend Saraki or Fayose?
